A lot of people want nysc to be scrapped but the government is unwilling to do that the truth is that the private sector will suffer a huge loss, especially in education; A known state has a lot of corp members, and even a corp member was given the post of a principal.
State governments are using this advantage not to increase the number of people employed.
New companies are using this method not to employ staff; I witnessed a case where the company that was asking for a particular skillset before signing an acceptance letter, it is stated in the posting letter, not to interview corp members.
