Omoh, I no do bolt again. It’s telling on my car already. I haven’t done maintenance in a while, it’s accumulating. My car isn’t fuel efficient. All the best to you guys. Stay safe

I expected this line of argument. The difference is the platform, the rules in place.

The same Nigerians that would be acting like wild animals at MMIA, are the same ones that would queue at Heathrow.

Uber uses mostly pricing to keep their system free of hoodlum-riders. I also heard they ban drivers, I don’t know if they ban riders too.

Even the OP said he registered on Bolt first because Uber’s registration is stressful. That should tell you a lot.
But bolt has the 1st mover advantage, has the largest market share, has more driver, las the lowest wait time, has the cheapest price. To most Nigerians, Uber is less efficient and more pricey.

Please which car did you use sir?
CheerfulGiver:
Law enforcement don't harass you because you're a bolt driver. They only harass you for breaking the law. Ignorance of the law isn't an excuse.

I make over 100k weekly after commission. I don't maintain weekly, my car doesn't depreciate weekly, and I don't get unforeseen issues weekly. Some complains are over stated.

I'm looking for a good car for bolt. Tokunbo preferred but a compact good car that won't trouble is welcomed. If you are looking for an honest driver get in touch.

Hello, My name is Iyke and I am based in Abuja. Due to some unforseen circumstances, i lost a lot of my investment and savings on my father's health challenge and now i am almost down to ground zero.

Please, I am humbly seeking for a car owner who wishes to give his car out for bolt/uber services. I am in need of a car for bolt and i assure you i will maintain your car very well as if it were mine. I will abide by your terms and conditions. I need to hustle and get back on my feet again.

I am a careful driver, and know how to handle and maintain a car, having owned a car before.

Thank you.

I can be reached on 0..813 383 . 1201

I’m based in Kaduna and my vehicle is a 2003 206 Peugeot. It’s accepted here in Kaduna but I’m not sure about Abuja.

I'm sorry I didn't reply this post too. Actually you know just before I started sharing someone's car to drive on bolt, I had tried to move out of Nigeria via the healthcare visa route. So, I had done 24 care courses on Florence and Alison and applied to a ton of care homes in the U.K but none was forthcoming and I became tired in January. But just when I posted that I was searching for a car, a recruiter contacted me through my profile on LinkedIn. You know I am a welder and Iron bender by trade, so they want to employ steel fixers(Iron benders) for a company in the UK.

The recruiter arranged a meeting on google meet to share more details and we spoke. The salary offer was good 32k pounds per annum, although it is below what is been paid generally in the industry for that job, but I don't mind as far as I'm out of this country for good. I was told to send my CV and a 30 seconds video of myself doing the job which I did. Infact, the guy was pressing me because I had wanted to give my CV to a writer to help me fine tune to UK standard. Anyway, I did the best I could and sent. Since then I've been awaiting a response from him because I'm suppose to have an oral interview with the management of the company before approval.

So, when I saw your response to my car hunt, I didn't know what to say again because I am someone who likes to be focused and committed and would not want to take a car and drift away shortly, I decided to put the car thing on hold and watch what will happen first. But then, it's taking too long(I don't know if anybody has been in this position before) and I need to keep making ends meet and the person whose car I'm sharing behaves funny and is undisciplined with work. I'll like to go my way and be on my own. This is my true circumstance.

Please if you are offering me a car, know that I will never drive in Lagos because I am a retired danfo driver in Lagos before I moved to go and be staying in Oyo state. Lagos is a messy place! full of traffic and hoodlums. I can run interstate into and out of Lagos sha, but to drive e-hailing within Lagos? God forbid! I reside in Oyo state and Abuja. Those two places are comfortable for me to work.
