Please, has anyone changed sponsor recently or applied for a new visa within the UK?

How long did it take for them to make a decision? I just want to know the timeline and assess if dey don't have a long waiting list so one can consider priority service.

Please, can anyone help with this?

Very easy, type switch to Natwest on Google, you will be directed to their website to open an account which before you finish with documentation, you will be ask to put in the bank you are switching from, sort code and some details. So you will need to transfer 1,250£ into the account and open the bank App “, Full switch takes about 10 working days but before then you can use the account. They will move every info to your Natwest from you previous account on or before the 10th day. Within five days after that, you get your 200£ gidigba 😁

Omoh no problem na we go run am noni
Please how I go run the switch to nat west.

Seems like YouKay likes their diesel cars, Please which type of car is better fuel or diesel?

I equally noticed that diesel cars are more cheaper than petrol, and is diesel easier to get there than as it is in 9-japa?

@Santa2 , what about people above 40yrs cant we open Lisa account..

Sadly above 40 yrs cant open LISA but you can open the regular ISA. Which comprises of Cash ISA ( relatively lower risk, lower interest) and Stocks & Shares ISA(higher risk, higher interest). You can do both or either of the two to a yearly maximum of £20,000.

That was for bag weight over the allowable 23kg. I don't know about paying for extra bag.

I noticed that something might be wrong. Otherwise how can a car from 2011 till recent be sold £5k(more or even less), whereas the petrol type of it will be at £12k or higher.

Thank you @Lexusgs430

Thank you for this explanation, I am currently using Halifax and would like to switch to NatWest.
1. Does Halifax bank qualifies to switch?
2. I use the the bank for my salary, will I have to communicate my employer of the new account with NatWest?
Thank you.

When I switched from Student Visa to skilled worker visa, I paid for Priority which is 5 working days for the decision to be made. I went for the biometric but I woke up the next morning to find a mail from Home office that I have been granted the visa.

@Lexusgs430 please it is true that an Immigrants with tier4 visa 2 years old child is now eligible for free 15hours childcare support from the Uk government?
Thanks and God bless .

Yes it is true, I hold a T4 and my 2 years old attends 15 hours per week, with feeding self, though my children don't partake in eating at school.
The program is called early access or early education and they attend family nursery till age 4.

Sad but it's a necessary evil; change in sync with global realities.

The next 50 years will witness massive career disruptions and transformations.

Aside the massive layoffs in Tech and Media, more are happening and will still happen, howbeit, they are/will be underreported. For instance, many banks and stores are closing up in UK, do you think they'll still retain all their in-branch workers?

On the bright side, new roles and careers are popping up. More opportunities are emerging. People will only need to readjust their lives and career goals.

Right now, careers that were lucratively distinct some 50-100 years ago are no longer the hot picks.

With the pandemic, global unrest, economic crisis and artificial intelligence, I can almost say that not so many careers can be future-proofed.

The way to get ahead is to incrementally add value to one's self, monitor/understand and strategize with insight from trends. Being flexible is key to achieving success in this age and time. But more importantly, is be have a super-consciousness: connection with God through Jesus.

LionInZion:
First it was Tech Layoffs, now it's media. How do we start future-proofing our careers as we don't know which industry will be hit next?

Please gurus in the house, how much is the typical car insurance in London? The cheapest I've seen was about £700-800, but was told I can't access that since I have both UK provisional and Nigeria's international license (UK provisional trumps the Nigeria's international) and now, the prices are in the range of £1100-1300. Is this the normal price range?

Thanks

*I got the UK provisional license so I can begin the process of getting the UK full license. Seems that is not a good plan based on discussion with the insurance company agent I spoke with.
Can you please share the contact info of insurers that you’ve contacted?
I honestly need a good deal on car insurance.
