kingssmith: Charcoal business is rubbish business, you people should not be giving investment advise about business you know nothing about. I invested in that business and every single day I remember that investment I get angry for wasting so much money in a stupid business. If you are sure of what you are saying provide a movable collateral worth 4 million let me give you a loan of 2 million so you can show us how you will perform the miracle of making profit of 500K every month from charcoal business! 2 Likes |

Try farming, import and export of goods within Nigeria, or try, transportation. But farming is best, just try to plant one month crops. One months crops are basically veggies, okra, ugwu, ewedu, gbagba, Tete, and other popularly consume veggies. Take for example, if you plant ugwu, it will use 2 months to grow, after the two months, You can harvest every 2 weeks for next 7 months. It does well in a good irrigated environment. Don't forget, all this skyrocket at dry season. |

NaughtyBrainiac: I suggest you lower your profit expectations. You plan to make 10% as profit every month. Basically you wish to cashout in 10 months. Be careful. In business planning always lower your profit expectation and increase your cost expectation. Overstate your expenses and understate your income. 4 Likes |

First error from OP is the 10% monthly profit expectation, with your 5m you can get a space, startup a mini supermarket, setup racks and display your products, especially consumable stuffs for a start, do awareness, input your products into point of sale(I personally use Quickbooks for my store) and expect average of 20-22% profit of any monthly sales which means your location, awareness and customer relation will determine your monthly turnover. 1 Like |
