We learn everyday, abeg make I learn. So when I rented my house, na one old yeye led tv dey the wall of the living room and as a guy man I comot their tv and kept it in the carton of my tv while I hung my sleek tv on the wall. I don keep their tv for garage.

They are going to inspect my house today, I’m currently at work.

Hope they won’t say I remove landlord tv and put my own tv without permission.

I can’t stress to look for house now oooo.

Hello house, I’m trying to apply for a refund of IHS Surcharge fee, and it has requested for a 6months payslip history. The first few months I got here on Tier 2. My slips reads above 20hrs… just about 2 slips.. can I upload it along side the remaining slips ? What’s the way forward.
Also I’m not sure I’m reading it right, but just to be correct about my eligibility. Am I eligible as a studnt on Tier 2 visa, who has worked in a healthcare role for more than 6months?

Yes you’re right. I’ve made a few mistakes there.. I’m on a student Visa, and I’ve worked in healthcare for over 6months. Am I eligible for the refund?

Yes, but I dont mind if it is going to be a pathway to employment. Getting a job here is not easy. The last interview I did I was not taken. It came as a shock after telling me I will come to work everyday first two weeks of resumption before going hybrid. When i asked for feedback, no tangible reason. The interviewer told me there is no place she can say I should improve on that they decided to go for an exact match looking at where they are coming from. Really discouraging, cos if they knew they wanted an exact match why did you shortlist me to make up the number? So I dont mind for as long as it is a pathway to employment.

Student visa = tier 4
Work visa = tier 2

You will pay even more to obtain ILR and then citizenship, and then continue paying taxes afterwards. They are very wise grin

The country dey give sha, nah you know sabi how you go take collect.

At least I see £67 collect for Electricity even though say I be fresher on Tier_4 and I dey work 37.5 hours as a dependent not paying council tax.

Lol….it’s a funny system…..Some peeps have 2yrs courses and they’ll pay around 18k/year for the course. That’s £36k on 20hrs…
Still no public funds available to immigrants.. Well let’s say you work hard and perform some sort of magic.. you’re done with school and need to work.. starting salary na like £35k pounds/year.. That’s Ridiculous for a country/World power like the United Kingdom….Well Reality is we all can’t have the same heavenly favor.. might work for some . Won’t work for some. Man must keep moving/Striving nonetheless.

I want to believe that this manny has gotten either Aussie Visa or Yankee own. But if na to go back to Nigeria with a minimum wage of N30k dey his mind, 0m0 village remote control dey real shaa.

Put the countries I called by the side, the only thing that can give someone moral to travel back is if his father will be part of Emilokan Government.

With my short period here in Ukay, what I have discovered about the system is that you negotiate your way in everything you do.

But our Naija people get this phobia, like emi Omo onile, Omo olona, 😁🤣🤣. I will figure it out on my own way.

First, when school send notification about your payment, you should have inform school about this your ordeal and give them proof, negotiate your way out of it. They will surely listen when you write your bursar and give you more time.

Yesterday I got a bill from O2 that my bill is now £29.45 because of RPI instead of £25, I disturbed O2 until I was transferred to the manager and manager gave me a discount of £5 for the next 12-months.

Same way when I got into the UK and the Airbnb we lodged in no get the right pot for the induction stove that was previously there and me wan cook. I called the owner of the Airbnb and he went to buy new pots that's induction compatible so I can cook.
