Nnewi people have proven to be one of the wisest Igbo community/ Clan. They took the advice of their king after the civil war to build industries in their land and develop their communities.

They sacrificed short term profit for long term gain.

Today they are the fastest growing city according to UN in Nigeria.

Ojukwu a son of Nnewi went to igbos in Lagos and advised them to build industries back home. Majority didn’t heed to his advice. Today we see the consequences of over investing outside and forgetting the home land.

This past election should be the final wake up call.

Till tomorrow I respect Nnewi people although that's where by grandmother came from, Otolo Nnewi precisely, Nnewi has written their name in history, they single handedly made their town become a city no commercial bank in Nigeria expect Wema bank that is not in Nnewi some have two to three branches, they first made the town industrial and commercial city now they're investing in other sectors

Agreed with you..i just dey here dey hype our country but I know the truth. We are far way behind in so many things. Imagine that my phone number is my bank number and my email too is my bank account detail too that one can pay money into my account. It's sickening how far behind the world have left us, but unfortunately most people don't even know.

Nice one igbos are really bringing their businesses back home they're investing massively in the establishment and tourism sector I was shocked with what I saw in owerri recently.

It's only online that they claim Lagos, but your friends that you know on the streets know their hometown. All my life since I was born here in SW I've never met any friend whose state of origin is Lagos

theres is 24 hrs light in ikoyi axis,lekki1.there are some nice eateries and malls around der too.a few good roads.environment is quiet e no reach abroad but wetin we go do.

Why do we always applaud mediocre? No where in Ikoyi gets 24hr light 247. Because of good eatry you are comparing lekki with abroad? Lekki that have open gutter everywhere, Admiralty way that you cant cross the road with your shoes on when it rains, guy u can do better. In.one breath you said no mall in Nigeria now you are saying lekki have nice malls, is lekki not in Nigeria?
