Guy Ritchie's The Covenant .....7.5/10

Premium action movie with all the right ingredients and fight-piece. Jake Gylenhaal is a good actor... I feel he should be bigger than his current trajectory.
Prolly my next best movie from Guy Ritchie's staple after "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."

Funny how most people seem to miss "Homelander" himself. 😎

Dungeons and Dragons...... 6.5/10

Decent enjoyable flick... Simple but well done. Funny and entertaining all through. Should have grossed more but it's overbloated budget was it's downfall. Wonder what Paramount was thinking splashing $200mn in this project... A gaming adaptation for that matter.

The Pope's Exorcist .....8/10

This is an absolute beauty.... Acting was superb, the child actor is one to watch for future. Totally stole the show. Russell Crowe was enigmatic on this one.
The writers gotta be praised for probably the best dialogue I've ever seen in the horror genre. Loved the whole history and the focus on the Catholic church. Catholic based horror never fails to deliver.
RT critics are stupid for giving it such low scores.
Wonder what's their grudge with faith based horror films.

Ghosted....4/10

Premium piece of shït. Rare L from Apple TV+. Trying to follow Netflix's footsteps is a costly endeavour. These projects are often forgettable as soon as you're done watching and disappears from audience discussions after premiere.

Enjoyed the Ana De Armas dynamic tho, still don't enjoy her all loved up. She's more alluring with the enigmatic roles you crack your head to decipher the character.

Big George Foreman: 8/10
Genre: Biopics, Sports, Drama

Now that's what we call in-depth character development. The movie walks you through the life and times of the legendary boxer Big George Foreman.

How was Mohamed Ali able to overshadow this dude? How is it that I never knew of Foreman until now? Foreman ought to be celebrated the same way Ali was, because truly he was a legendary boxer.

Another great sports biopics movie for boxing fans.

The Mother-

Maybe because I am one myself, but this movie resonated so deeply within me. J'Lo's performance was hard, dark and gritty. One of the best I've seen from her in her career, IMO. The story and performance from the lead act completely worked for me, so I am giving this movie two thumbs up.

Sounds like me and that Last Airbender film. I've tried to watch it twice and both times I fell asleep before they discovered "Oong" and after a former housemate told me not to watch it because he had watched my own copy and was like you won't like it. Bearing in mind, I'm a big fan of the original animated series and the guy had never watched the show and he hated the film with a passion. I didn't bother going back to it.

Disney hasn't really been doing so well with MODOK. Plus, the look could have been better. Cho, let me mess up my English, much more better. Coincidentally, I've been trying to plat the Marvel's Avengers game - one of the most frustrating and grinding platinum runs of my life. And seeing the guy that becomes MODOK on there from when he was human to the end result, it's just kinda sad. That even though the game can be very buggy, they still had a better looking MODOK.

Over the top, minimalistic, gory, borderline ridiculous, wonderfully enjoyable, this movie is a cross between Rambo and an elderly, Finnish John Wick. Dialogue is kept to a minimum, but the action is just brutal and jarring. I was shouting throughout the action sequences because of how "we don't give a fvck" they are.

The beauty of this story is that the hero is not fighting for anything noble and selfless. He is physically and mentally distant from all the chaos of war around him; he just wants his gold back after it was stolen by those idiot Nazi soldiers and will stop at nothing to get it. Woes betide you if you stand in his way. cheesy

Very entertaining and worth the watch. I would have given it three thumbs up if I had three thumbs. grin grin grin

Kill Chain.
One of the 6 million straight to DVD/streaming/digital movies that Nic Cage has done. Only watching 'cause there's at least 2 TV actors I like in it.

EDIT: I want to shoot the director and/or the camera person. Why is the camera shaking when nothing has even happened yet? What will happen when the action starts?! Darn film only just started and I want to slap everybody.
