- Ensure during your test drive, upon set off, the automatic gearbox is not jerky
- Check the spare tyre well, is dry.
- Check the rear mats area is dry
- Ensure no bangs and knocks from suspension is observed
- Check MOT history from government website
- Conduct an HPI vehicle check

Please everyone, I was recently offered a care job. And I am in the process of documentation. The employer has asked that I update my file with Access NI Check. Please what does that mean? Would a Police Clearance Certificate done here in Nigeria suffix since I am not yet in UK?

I don't think police clearance cert will work here, because the document issued by Northern Ireland (NI) to check your criminal record in the UK. So approach the company for guidelines, also during registration, you will need to input a code, which is the personal code of the company asking for the ACCESSNI cert.
Sometimes, some company gives the code for free, and some will require you pay £33 to get it.

If you don't understand, approaching the company is your best option.

But I am having a bit of difficulty setting up my account with Access NI (www.nidirect.gov.uk/apply-for-an-enhanced-check-through-a-registered-body). I was only able to get the email confirmation code and not the mobile phone confirmation code after several attempts. And without these confirmation codes, I can't successfully get the activation link to apply for an account and register. I have written to the nidirect account support at (nida@nidirect.gov.uk ) but no response yet. I have also spoken with the customer care-at (tel:+44-300-200-7814 ) and yet it has not been resolved. I don't know if I can leave out the mobile phone confirmation code part because it seems an integral part for the identity checks. A message popped up when I tried to continue without a mobile number saying "this process will take longer" without a mobile phone confirmation. Please what do I do?

Is the company aware you are still in Nigeria? And are they offering you sponsorship? If they are aware you are in naija, I don't think the Enhanced DBS is needed to fulfil your visa requirement. However, a police character certificate will suffice. The DBS check is done when you get to the UK and covers both your time in the UK and abroad.

If you are in Abuja go to thier office in Gwarimpa, with your bank statement, they will try to bill you based on your transaction but please beat it down seriously.

Last week my mum a retiree went to get hers when the lady saw her bank statement , she billed my mum 500k for the TCC, my mum started packing her Kaya because that 500k is more than the cost of buying dollar at black market rate sef.
