good morning, please I applied for Canada closed working permit,I did my text at Ikea on 20th last month still waiting for the embassy call to submit my passport, but the Issues is I applied for Canada tourists visa since 2021,they just sent an email to the agent that I should submit my passport for visa approval. What do you advise me on because I don't want to be waiting for the working permit and loses the tourists visa.

Transmission fee for kid without biometric is now 16360 from 9930.

I had to pay another 30820 for the kid package.I put the kid documents in a separate envelope and put in another envelope containing the mums documents.
According to DHL,courier fee is per passport.

No that's not what I mean. Here is what I meant here :

Point of entry is NYC for instance , rather than come straight to NYC , you stop at Montana and want to "finish a business" before going to NYC, some immigration officers may be forced to start wondering , why you didn't go to NYC straight. They may be forced to start asking very irrelevant questions and what they are not supposed to and start doing some unnecessary search and check for your belongings..

I'm speaking for a personal experience I had. I travelled to one country and rather than going straight to my destination, I stopped some place else, on grounds that I wanted to see someone before going to my destination. The immigration officers started to have a belly rumble and decided to call the person I was stopping over to see. I stayed at the airport (though not confined) for extra hours due to verification and when they were clear after confirmation from the person , they came in and let me go, and handed over my passport to me.

That's what I mean, and why I'm asking..

Do you have the UCI and application number? Do check online if it's possible to change email address. I saw somewhere a while ago where someone did this through webform.

Ask the agent for a copy of the completed form and use this to request a change in email address.

If it's possible since you've not done biometrics, withdraw this application and do it yourself. Judging by the flippant response stating your wrong date of birth is not an issue (which it is, if not addressed), I wonder if there are no other gaps in your application.

I'm very wary of agents and it has exacerbated because of the multiple complaints I've seen on this and other travel threads, so my advise might be on the extreme end of the spectrum

Sir/Madam, go ahead and submit your passport for tourist visa approval, closed work permit application is different to tourist.

When decision as made on your close work permit IRCC will notify you so the two visa is different .

Yes you can pickup in person. Go with photocopy of your int’l passport n write your tracking number on it. Time is 12-2pm but I will advise you go early to get slot, the queue can wait time can be frustrating.

But I think if you apply on the IRCC portal you may not need to Flagpole.

But first I would advise you to order a gmcs note to see the reasons for visa refusal and address the situation in your tourist visa application thanks

She sent the passport for stamping on Wednesday 05/07/2023 via DHL and vfs just confirmed they have received her passport.. But while try using the tracking number sent to her to check for updates , it keep saying NO RECORD FOUND

Hi everyone, please I got PPR 26th June for 5 family members , passport submitted thru dhl on 27th , confirmation and tracking number received 3rd and 4th July . All of a sudden today 7th July I got the below letter saying I should disregards the passport submission letter this is after I have sent passport and no update about this on the Vfs tracking .
