Problem here is that there's no laid out rules guiding the league's for everyone to see.

The requirements should be listed for all, some of the requirements should be voted by the members to either be removed or remain.

The league na for everybody. Without structure we won't even know what we're fighting for during the season.

Apart from the administrator, let everyone have an equal playing right. How many FA Cup slots is given to the NL league, how many to active members on this section of the forum.
What's the criteria for the Carling Cup? Etc..

If everybody knows this rule, nobody go dey disturb everybody about codes or anything. Because at the end of the season you go done know where you dey..

Also, a metric should be put in place to determine what "active" entails, and who active pass. Because at the end of the day no be everybody wey active go get the code. Because the slots for league performance go dey obviously more than being active here.

Make we look into this because every season na the same back and forth.

There are laid down rules. Maybe you didn't get Ibime. Let me break it down for you.

Everybody is allowed to play in the main league. But to qualify for the FA H2H, Ditto the Carling Cup, there are 4 things that will qualify you to participate:

1. Being a previous main league winner or FA cup winner in the past.

2. Being in the Top30 in the main league during the previous season. Sometimes if there are late show, top 50 are considered

3. Being the winner of Carling Cup the previous season.

4. Being an active poster on this thread.

Now if we put all these together we might have more than 50 people qualifying for only 20 available slots in FA and 20 in Carling Cup, so it becomes a case of First come, first serve. Which means even if you are a previous winner or if you are qualified by other means but you don't come to request for code early, you will still miss out. This is because the volunteer administrators cannot afford to wait forever.

I hope the rules are clear now.

These have always been the criteria which I write down most seasons, thanks for writing it on stone

Very clear, thanks.

But can the house debate on some of the rules? Like the first rule.

I think only immediate past winners of the league, FA cup, and Carling Cup should be given an automatic qualification. It doesn't really make sense giving it to previous winners that has lost their momentum.

It's like rewarding laziness..

My proposal; 3 slots for winners, 12 slots based on league performance, 5 slots based on activities on this thread.

Make everybody battle it out..

Ibime/Mukina2 can I get codes to join the FA cup? I could settle for the Carling cup too. I have been off the boil for several seasons now.

Ibime:
The following monikers have received or will shortly receive FA Cup codes

There are only 20 places but we have to send to more than 20 incase someone is on holiday or travelled to the village. Time waits for no man. The first 20 to join get in, if you are too late then badluck, you will have to join Carling Cup

Criteria is past performance and being active in this section

Ibime
Mukina2
OAM4J
Auraking
Iamoyindamola
Emaprince
Griffon
Raumdeuter
Iykmora
OasisX/Oasis007 (please clarify if these are two different people or the same person, Mukina is not sure)
Obainojazz
Afrodoc2
Donjazzet
Timbros
Layiwoo
Bourne007
6ixT8
Mclrx
lekkie073
pamcode
Centyakam
Bluelines69
Seytiano

That's 23 names for 20 spots. By law of nature, 3 people will be asleep and we need to complete the roster fast so we are not spending time on admin, or have an incomplete league.

A few of the names have not received codes which I'm sure Mukina2 will send when she wakes up. But to be sure, if you have not received from Muki, DM me and I will send you code so you are not disadvantaged

Carling Cup codes will be sent once FA Cup is filled.

Mukina2 sent it to my NL mail which isn't accessable.

yahoo.com

Oh this code was sent directly though NL...no wonder.

Ofcourse I know that lady won't send me code cos I call her out on her bulshit. They must rule with emotion. That's why power don't need to be given to that gender.

We move anyway

From the very day I saw mukina as the one to distribute code, I know say I won't get. That's why I wasn't even bothered. I only join NL league and moved on.

I was surprised to check in today to see Ibime also can give codes out. If that was the case from beginning, I for send my mail to him and get code.

A woman ruling is disastrous. Emotions won't let them make rational choices.

No be so bro
She's actually fair with it base on first come first serve
She even sent me the code on mail when I couldn't access my nairaland email
Both of them are fair with code sharing

there was a list of names there. She was sending codes from the names on that list.

Leave story bro... I commot mind as I see her name.

Because I call out her unfair and biased treatment of some people here.

I don Enter Carling Cup...make I go win that one tongue

Lol you must have had it rough with Mukina in the past.

You believe woman can't make. Rational choices because of emotions lol. Alright then, what emotions are involved in being the administrator of the fpl?

This is logical sha. If not the Spirit of competition would die.

@Ibime and Mukina 2 let's look at this

Maybe increase the no based on activities to 7. Cheers

The emotions used in selecting who to send code to and who to ignore.

Our people said " when gifts are distributed one by one, that's when dem dey take know who dem hate"

The code was sent to your nairaland mail initially, right? Ditto every one that was on the 23man list except my moniker. The reason is not far fetched. Thast a woman for you.

I have moved on bro...make she use her Niaraland power make life better for herself.
