Geologists doesn't know anything about drilling sir, they can only tell you stories about topography of locations but when the main drilling starts 70% times they are always wrong,I'm telling you as an Driller/Engineer.. I drill Water boreholes in all the South East and South South terrains and states..You made a mistake to drill 65m that the geologist told you,you would have gone to 120 or 130 for Ebonyi state that's where you would have gotten pure water.. Contact me if you want a lasting solution..email me.. chidionwo@gmail.com 1 Like |

What are you saying man? You re in a different terrain. Different lithologies too. The geologist did nothing wrong. The screening might be the issue and moreover the water will be clean after a while Chrisviboy85: |

I think nothing else can be done because the depth is not deep enough. Just drill another borehole brother. One stupid borehole driller did for us in Benin, it brings out sand before clean water, just 5-10mins. I would have use my hands to send the man to jail if he was still in Benin. Nigerian workmen are wicked and theives. 1 Like |

You need another borehole, you will just be wasting money flushing, but the result will remain the same, this is from experience, that hole contains rust water table, the rocks minerals sips into the water when left alone for some time. |

It's not a big deal ...did they gravel pack the well with enough half inch granite? If they didn't, then get chemical...get chlorine 1kilo, industrial salt 2 kilo, put it and flush down with water. ..leave it for 2hrs, then flush it till its drinkable...Thank me later |

Be using the borehole like that for now. With time, it will clear. Our borehole waw like this initially before it cleared. Just have a cut out pipe that flushes the water off till its clean, then close the cut out for the water to begin going inside the tank. Be using it like this for now till it clears with time. Don't be hasty. 1 Like |

shortgun: Compounds in harmful proportion would mix fully with the water and not get suspended on top. Irrespective of the constituents, they won't do much harm as far as they clear up quickly enough. |

Your drill depth is not up to the required level that's number one because even within the basement complex regions like fct and kaduna, drill depth is more than 65m for a good borehole because you can only get clean and hygienic water from the aquifer. They did a bad job. |

Re: My New Borehole Pumps Out Dirty Water First, Before Clean Water. Help! by Petacephas: 1:37pm On Jan 20 |
See, there is no shortcut to the solution. It's just to drill another and this time get a certified geophysicist to do proper electrical sounding in order to get the right spot to drill and let the drill depth be up to 120m. Anything other than this you will just be getting surface water not underground water which you need. Water around that 65m level within sedimentary terrains are already contaminated that's what you are seeing. |

IyaTola:ur point was clear. His predicaments is caused by his absence wen d project was done. Even with d question, since it's not ur area of specialization, u can easily buy into wot u're being told. If u den think u know more dan d contractors, den u do it by urself... Also, wots d need for employing the services of experts? He employed people da know d work, possibly from recommendation (people d supposed expert has worked for)... Even, such case is not a new occurrence. A renouned company has done a deep drill in our church. After some time d water stopped rushing. And dey came back to fix it. So, it's not a big deal, he just need to call d contractors back to attend to d problem. 1 Like |

Grupo: Firstly go for flushing again, if the hole formation is not competent too then go for case down....if it is case down already flushing will solve the issue |

do4luv14: Even that depth is okay if the soil is good or water table is high enough. But it will take a while before clean water will start coming out. |
