It is a welcomed development as proactive climes have swung into action by banning it. The world is intentionally conscious of anything detrimental to our health and Nigeria should ban it. However, I am just wondering how people would get cheap takeaway to replace it. Reusable containers as opined in the writeup should be cheap. 5 Likes |

When will reps come out in public to make kidnapping punishable by death? When will they gather to publicly speak against it? People are being kidnapped in bundles like chaff but TAKE AWAY PLATE is the priority. 39 Likes 5 Shares |

Ban Styrofoam and people will start blocking drainage with plastics. Plus some evil sellers will rewash disposed plastics from gutters to reuse again. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Mtcheweeewwwwwwwwewweeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Reps should tell us if subsidy is back, what they v done with the money realized after it was removed and to let us know if it was a scam since 2013. They should also tell us if NNPC is gaining N100 per litre when fuel was N195 and if truly the increment in fuel price by this administration was needless! 6 Likes

Our typical knee jerk approach to issues. Even if it is to be done, let it be staggered in a way that there will be less shock in the value chain. I'm even perplexed why the sudden focus on styrofoam? Is polythene not a bigger pollutant? Why not ban polythene? 4 Likes |

At least their approach of phased timeliness is better than Lagos that woke up and placed an overnight ban. Businesses and companies have invested heavily in the production of the products. You can't just wake up and place an overnight ban like a military decree, they need time to transition |
