In your stupid mind don't you know those humans walk, they don't carry them, but the money, they have to carry those heavy bag. You sure say you go school? Your mom really wasted money on your education. How old are you?
You be big fool, they don't have bike?

Can't they bury the money somewhere and dig it up at a convenient time.

Can't they ask for the payment to be in gold or other valuables.

You most be the most dumbest person to link depreciation of currency to end of kidnapping.

With little reasoning I can still come up with atleast 5 ways they can move such bags (if we are working with the assumption of cash) without been traced.

They swear for you sai make you no use your brain? Can't go low to insult or blame your parents, they did their best, na you just choose to be an ignorant negro with a low frequency of analytical and logical acumen.

Do you know what you have to do to earn a 100 DOLLARS ?

Healthcare: Go to the hospital in the dollar country, ordinary headache they will charge you $350 after insurance deductions and co-pay. In Nigeria, there is no hospital that will charge you $10. Some hospital visits abroad can cost you $50000. (Giving birth with C/S, 1 or 2 days of ICU). In Nigeria you wont spend $500.

Education: Come and study in dollar economy let them give you loan with 7% percent compund interests, you will work and die without finish paying for such loans. In Nigeria people study for free and "japa" Thats essentially free human capital, No country in the world allows there manpower to JAPA free of charge.

Public Transportation: Compare the airfares and bus fares, $500 tickets is europe or america if you buy last minute, is a cheap ticket. In naija you can walk into Abuja airport and fly to Lagos last minute, with $100.

Utilities: Electricity, power and water, Have you paid water bill, heating bill $800 before ? You are comparing dollar to naira ?

Telecommunications: Even Internet costs are comparable, phones services, standalone phone servces can cost up to $120 plus taxes for a month. Do you pay that much to sub your phone in a month ?

Certain Agricultural Products: Agricultural produce are cheaper in Nigeria, than any dollar economy. A big Mango can be $3-4, Have you ever bought 1 mango for 5000naira ? Meat is cheaper in Nigeria, food stuff even with the cry is still cheaper than abroad.

Would you rather earn $5000 and have to spend $4995 for bills and living.
Or earn 100,000 naira and spend 50000 naira for bills and living ?
man you're a liar you inflated all those figures to sound dramatic, with $30 you can get unlimited internet, calls and text. you can never get such at that price in nigeria. 24/7 electricity not up to $150 per month stop lying. and in which hospital do you pay $350 for headace (drop image) in a place where healthcare is purposely free as long as you're paying taxes.

you also didnt mention quality of life, and income in those countries. you want to compare the rubbish healthcare in nigeria to the Uk, you deserve serious cane. wt

there is no much sense in this your analogy. It's just the sign before the money. Why not exchange the dollar sign to the Naira.
Some years back, the Naira was stronger than the dollar.
Think!

The dollar grew in a healthy fashion
The naira's growth has been stunted by looting, corrupt politicians, lack of diversification.....Now the naira is an adult with stunted growth.

Offically, yes, covertly...

And even then, they have diversifed , manufactruing economies...whether they compare to dollar or not, it does not matter...they already have the things needed for a stronk currency.

Talking about Nigeria, we have nothing. We are empty, big, boastful, empty. We can't grow with visionless leaders.

Yeah, which is why I have never been impressed with any of our leaders.

The truth is, all our leaders are alike. They have one formula...pay for as many goodies as possible using oil money. The problem is, oil money is not enough and has never been enough. But most people think it is and blame corruption...true corruption is to blame partially, but that is not the whole picture.

TO become like diversified nations , industrial nations, means hardships. NO one likes hardships.

Yes, portability is good, but the fact that redenominating N1000 to N10 does not mean that naira is all of a sudden a currency with value. Or that inflation won't soon make the whole thing useless.

Naira rise and fall base on the choice of people.... Tinubu has already taken that burden of baring responsibility of Naira on his head.

He has unificate Naira, the market and choice of the Nigerian citizen will determine the performance of Naira in the international market.

I would also advice the president and the senators to take down our denominations. There is no reason why we should have 1k in one note.

There is no country that have that amount in one note and their currency is doing well. Dollar last denominations in $100. Same as Pounds and euro.

Even there pounds end at £50. The highest Ghana denominations is 200 cedis.

Nigeria govt should take down our denominations too and make small dominations like 5N 10N and coins to be available.

What is the economic benefit or we just go along with others and reduce ours to kobo and shillings

Will it also affect the exchange rate

Just give the benefit and cost implications of throwing away 1000, 500, 200 and 100 naira notes

Have you heard the saying "There is no free lunch even in freetown."
In UK, the NHS has a long waiting list, if you need some services done you would have to wait 8 months, if you die before then, thats your problem. For the free healthcare.

In USA, if you dont have health insurance, you contribute $300/month your employer pays $300 total $600, you wont get free healthcare.
If you dont have a job, you will buy health insurance for $500/month and you pay every month wether you are sick or not.

Nigerians have a lot of misconception about everything free abroad. Dey Play.
The people that wanted free labour and came to africa to capture human beings as slave, you think they will be generous to be giving you good life for free.
