Lol didn't you noticed that the Ibrahim and Abdullahi are the same person, I mean the names are basically the same, it's just that it was interchange in the 2 bank account but they are one person.

I couldn't believe you couldn't notice and someone took 2 portion of a giveaway which isn't fair

Why would you rate someone based on where they live? Does location add more value to a person than another?
Someone might have an opportunity that another person didn’t get. It doesn’t make them inherently better or deserving of higher rating than another.

if you must rate people, do it on a basis of whether they a good, kind and honorable person!

Do you accept every gift you are given?

Before you offer a help, first make sure there is a NEED for that help. If it is a gift then it should be good enough to be appreciated

It really is a losing battle. Some if them ended up making me loss my cool after attacking me rather than staying on topic with logical debate.

What are you saying?
In this hard time are you telling me people are not in need of help? The offer came at the right time and everyone who Indicated interest is in need of it . A rich or comfortable person will not show interest in this giveaway so how did you arrive at the conclusion that the help may not be needed?

You people like to control and tell others what to do with their money and una shi shi no dey drop.

People need 20k naira differently. In this case, it is not a giveaway.

It is simple but poverty and economic hardship have changed our mentality to relative beggars in this country

You want to tell me this his long lost friend of 16 years and above magically got his account number and transferred money he didn’t request to him?

And you’re talking about critical thinking. I’ve heard it all

Yes, he didn't request for money, not 20k naira surely. That is clear from the OP which is our point of reference

Honestly, I didn't notice because it was a separate bank with both names interchanged which I find disgusting on the Nigerian banking system to have someone open a bank account with both First Name and Last Name interchanged.

That is another form of GREED that makes people NOT want to help.

I would expect the person that collected double portion to be honest about it, so someone else could benefit, but they decided to keep mute.

If it is true that both interchanged names belong to the same person, then we shouldn't keep blaming politicians, because we are our own problem in this country.

If you’re really in your mid 40s like you claimed in prior posts (I can’t tell when you’re serious or joking), but if true, that puts you >10 years older than me. How am I your aunty?
Or is aunty supposed to be a term of endearment? Or some form of insult?
Is it like when you sarcastically call someone “oh honey” but you really mean it in a not so endearing way?

Do u remember Merychen, Callidora, Charis123, CharisElois, n her other plenty monikers for NL she don deactivate ? Na same person . She posted on NL 3 years ago on her other monikers say she was in her 40s . By now she's definitely about 44 or 45 yrs old

But sorry sir I know it's not my money but the wicked person that collected twice should have at least sent 10k back instead of keeping it all to himself sir. What kind of wickedness is this, is he the only one with financial issues so we the remaining 5 that were hopeful just dropped this for fun according to him right? He will come and use that account to line up for another giveaway next time.

Madam go and rest! Stop attacking people who don't share same views with you. The US guy is stingy if he actually gave based on the based on the naira value and not in dollars.

That 12$ can not buy his children snacks abroad and that's what he chose to send to someone. I'm sure you're like him.

Whether he gave 20k or 12 dollars…he gave what he had and you don’t know how many people he gave money. How does that make him stingy? If your “neighbor” isn’t pleased with what he got, he can just return the money to the sender..so the sender can give it to someone that’d appreciate it.

She's based abroad too but as you see her so, her one cent never drop or benefit any nairalander. I don't know about those in her gang here o , she maybe giving those ones but I'm tàlking about gifting random people here like her fellow diasporians do. instead she'll go to any thread that disagrees with her views on sending money to people and be attacking the comments there like one small wall ghekko. As you see am so , aka aradite.

I wanted to buy a land over here in Port Harcourt. I had up to 3.5m and I was expecting 2m from my business the following week. I call my brother in USA to help me with N1.5m he refused. So that I can add to the 3.5m to buy the land of NN5m.. Despite that I will pay him back in less than 5days.. he refused. This is blood brother oohh.. a professional nurse that had stayed in US for 25yrs..

I am curious, what did he say was the reason for his refusal?
How many time has he visited Nigeria and the general family in the past 25 years?
How close are you both, before he relocated and while he was working?

So many Nigerians have entitlement complex. Just because they are friends with or related to a person, they believe the person must give them whatever they demand.

Including blood relations? shocked

Wow! So, if I have the resources and my blood brother wishes to buy land, should I decline to give him the money?

He wanted to use scope for his brother but the guy man knows he won't pay the money back.

That is a hasty assumption. Why do you believe the brother would not pay back? Not everyone is dishonest, even to their blood relations.

Do you think $500 is just laying around for everyone in USA to hand out to multiple people?

Fair argument. But when people accuse their blood relations of entitlement, I wonder the kind of relationship they had before living in different parts of the world.

A neighbor of mine called me on Saturday and was complaining bitterly about his Bossom friend.

He told me his friend travelled to the US in 2008 and after a few calls they lost contacts. Last week his friend messaged him and said he's aware of the hardship in naija and asked him to send his account details. My neighbor did and after a while he received an alert of 20k. I said wow!.. that's a miracle. but he hushed me and said I should let him finish.
He said immediately he did the conversion it came to 12.8 dollars. He now said after 16 years it 12 Dollar the friend could send to him that that's an insult.
ollars...

To me the friend did not do any wrong but my neighbor feels he could do better.that 12 Dollar is like 1,200 hundred naira to them over there.

Guys what will you do if you were my neighbor?

The mistake he made. Don't convert earnings or gifts to any currency. Take what you see as face value. This is the same mistake most Nigerians who japa'd recently tend to do - convert earnings in the abroad to naira. Tomorrow, they will come and argue with me that a skyscraper cleaner in the UK earns more than a bank manager in Nigeria.

It is the friend in the diaposra I blame. Not everyone in Nigeria should be sent money. The friend too in Nigeria should stop converting dollars arbitrarily.

P.S. This is assuming your story is real as you are fond of creating funny stories depending on which side of the bed you woke up from.
