eniola1010: I wrote ielts twice First attempt - L8 W7.5 R6 S8 overall band 7.5 Second Attempt - L8 W7.5 R7 S8.5 overall band 8 Listening is the easiest just pay keen attention and read the instructions avoid the least distraction and you will be fine. Goodluck |

eniola1010: Practice and keep practicing. If you start start scoring 36/40 in the practice tests, then you’re ready. And during the test, avoid any kind of distractions. The recording is played once; if you miss any question or part of the recording, don’t dwell on it or start thinking of the answer to that question; simply move on, focus on the recording and answer the next question. 1 Like |

phabulous88: i will be honest i have tried and tried, keep scoring exactly 34 which is 7.5. and according to what i have noticed, listening alone boosts crs score, no wonder its the most difficult. i really need 8 or 8.5. i keep scoring 8 and beyond in others which are irrelevant, i just need 7 in rws, but 8 in L. instead i keep getting 8 in rws and 7.5 in L. 1 Like |

The Lord has done it finally, finally finally It's PPR and my turn to dance Started this journey in 2019, given up along the way, IELTS expired, profile expired, chop breakfast join😂, cried, rejoiced with others, prayed, fasted and it has come to pass. I am sharing this because one thing that really helped me was reading other's PPR story, It encouraged me and lately I don't see so much here again so if you are someone like me. This is for you. Stay hopeful. ITA- Oct. 23, 2023 AOR- Nov 16, 2023 ADR for IMM406- Jan 26 2024 Medical and BIL- Jan 30 2024 ADR for Updated POF- Feb 6th 2024 ADR for 6 months statement- Feb 26th 2024 ADR RPRF- April 4 2024 although I paid already and uploaded receipt via webform before the ADR came FD- April 5, 2024 RFV/PPR- April 8, 2024 Halleluyah..... Hello Seniors, Please I need help... I got PFL for POF. I had money in my savings account that I initially used for POF but when naira declined and lost value, I topped up with a gift deed then did a fixed deposit investment with the new funds. The PFL reads that money in the fixed deposit is not accessible so the VO says he is not accepting it, can I break the investment and send the funds back to my main account, I hope I am on the right path by doing this? First off, how did you raise the initial money in the savings account before gift deed top-up? Anyways, you have to show&prove the financial trail with explanation AFTER you’ve moved the money back to your savings account from fixed deposits. Good thing you have been given a chance to explain it. In my opinion, something like this: ‘Dear Visa Oficer, I appreciate the opportunity you’ve provided me to prove that the money in my proof of funds is accessible to me blah blah blah….as evident from page 1 of the document I uploaded(or attached to this letter), I had #xxxxxxxxxx in my account save up (or initial gift deed) for the purpose of my immigration to Canada by 12/03/1900 when I submitted my application. However, as a result of the instability of foreign exchange I received an additional gift deed from my xxxx so that my proof of funds can meet the current Canadian dollars valuation in naira on 10/03/1900. This is shown by the money deposit & gift deed in page 2 & 3. To ensure the said funds remain exclusively for my immigration purpose, I however made a fixed deposit for xx days on 11/03/1900 evident from the transfer from my account to the fixed deposit account on page 4. To prove that the fund is accessible to me, I have transferred the money back into my savings account on 13/03/1900, a current statement of account and reference letter from my bank is shown on page 5(include a new bank reference letter with recent date)’. I appreciate your diligence and fairness in processing PR applications.’ Tweak the above as applicable to your situation… The key I believe is to be convincing and proof you have access to the money. MEL done and linked: 02/02/2024 ADR- for PoF(while expecting FD):21/02/2024 Responded to ADR: 07/03/2024. ADR acknowledged almost immediately FD:11/03/2024 RFV: 13/03/2024 PVO/SVO: CIO/CPO, Ottawa Later changed to RROC/ Accra after BIL/MEL. Thanks to every single person here, words would fail me. Hello everyone, Please I am facing a small issue paying for my evaluation with WES. I have been trying to use my GTBank US$ debit card where I have some USD to make the payment for the WES Fee but it has been giving "Payment Failed" since. I have mailed WES to request why and they only sent one generic email back to me which is not even helpful. Please, I am begging, who has a better and easier option to pay for the WES fee from Nigeria and can help? I also tried Pay4Me and after I had paid for the verification, I discovered that their charges for paying WES for me is over 25k naira which I don't even have currently. Please, if you know of other means to make payment for WES, I will so much appreciate your help. Thanks so much. |
