•Keyamo commends Gatwick Airport for welcoming Nigerian carrier The entry of Nigeria’s major carrier, Air Peace into the lucrative London route, has sparked price war among foreign airlines which have severally reduced their airfares to compete effectively with the Nigerian airline. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2024/04/11/air-peace-flight-to-london-sparks-price-war-among-foreign-airlines%3famp=1 26 Likes 5 Shares

Imagine how prices of things will crash in Nigeria if we can leave corruption and tribalism and support local investors Some Nigerian big heads never wanted this Airpeace - London flight to work because they know what they're benefiting... Thank God no more food for them. Like I used to say, if we don't use this opportunity a Southerner is the president and fix Nigeria, next time it's going to the north, we're completely finished 234 Likes 12 Shares |

Airlines business is not a profitable business . No serious businessman is into aviation business. As said by someone " no top 100 billionaire in the world is into aviation business" it's all fancy and glamour with no profitability or liquidity. Since it is a very low margin business... volumes and routes are key . That's why having a national carrier is most. We also need competition in local flights. It is currently too pricey and these guys are cheating customers. How can a flight of less than one hour to the east be #500k during festive season. That is devilish. 27 Likes 1 Share

What was Airpeace expecting ? I'm sure Onyema was not expecting an easy ride of Goat meat peppersoup, Afang soup with Pounded Yam. There is competition and politics in aviation just like every other business. I expect Airpeace to explore their competitive advantages. Especially linking the London flights with local flights to various domestic Airports in Nigeria. Such that passengers can board from Kano, Abuja, Enugu, Anambra, PH etc with a seamless luggage transfer at Lagos Airport. 52 Likes 1 Share |

Gatwick Airport failed to honour Airpeace inaugural flight with the water hose welcome from fire trucks as is customary for Airlines on inaugural flights on new routes. Airpeace have been unable to leave London on time for return flights to Lagos since the Inaugural flight, because Gatwick sabotage who put them in check in desk where the belts and carousal are not working forcing Airpeace to manually carry checked in luggages to their destination about 50metres away. Apparently there is a rule that airlines that are late departing an airport 80% of the time can be removed from flying that route. Gatwick also failed until recently as a few hours ago to announce that Airpeace has joined the airlines flying the the Lagos to London route. If you search Lagos to London Gatwick on the internet Airpeace does not appear, The only way to know Airpeace fares is to visit their website but oddly enough even on their website , the fare is shown in dollars instead pounds or Naira ( I wonder if it is Airpeace own doing or hands of saboteurs) I suspect saboteurs. If you search on known flight ticket sites like Opodo and others Airpeace results are never returned . Even when you enter Airpeace names you would struggle to find any results returned for Airpeace Direct flight Lagos to London. If you keep trying on these well known sites you may eventually get a result for the cheapest price for Airpeace for that route without any other details such as date and time of departure and that price would be about double the actual true price as found in Airpeace website. If you no get sense go ahead and not support Airpeace and buy you ticket from foreign airlines who have lowered their ticket prices below those of Airpeace to push then off the route. So When Airpeace is eventually pushed out they can return to fleecing us with prices that are about 5 times what Airpeace are charging. 32 Likes 4 Shares |

This foreign airline that made me travel all the way to Cotonou before I could board a flight going to London for 450k while Nigeria was showing 1.2m to 1.5m that was last year. I kept on asking why is it like this? The Cotonou airport self is not that busy na we Nigerians come make am busy.. More than half of the plane na Naija full am. This foreign airline are very wicked, heartless as they said their money was trapped in Nigeria that was why they had to charge Nigerians 3 times what other African countries pay. Even the Cotonou weh I enter plan from to London na naira I used pay not dollar Government need to ensure that they are taxed heavily, then reduce tax for airspeace to be able to compete better with them 54 Likes 7 Shares |

If not for corruption, what will give those bastard foreign airlines the gut to do what they're doing. Ripping us off. We ha e everything in this country, but what we don't have is LEADERSHIP. Jobless mofos like Helinues, Legendhero and other unfortunate agbadorians will not agree. They like supporting our oppressors. I enjoined all patriotic Nigerians irrespective of tribe or religion to patronize AIR PEACE and make those bastard foreign airlines pay for their years of evils against the Nigerian people. I rest my case. 4 Likes |
