Boniface could easily be up to 20 goals in the league by now if he wasn't injured.....

Okoye seriously showing off against the club that is said to be interested in him for the summer, but he needs a better defense.

Does not change that Muller has more goal contributions than the magical touch.
Does not change the fact that Muller recognizes magical football rather than the deadpan football of tiki taka full of numbers and statistics

My good doc, I disagree because in today's game, it is hard to have room for the magic.

Let us use Foden for instance. He is strictly a direct goal threat and focused in being key to our wins.

Not taking anything away from Zidane. What I am saying is,

Zidane is better than the new breeds of 10s when it comes to magic.

But these new breeds are monsters when it comes to goal contributions. Muller for instance is better than Zidane when it comes to work rate and tactical discipline in the offensive third.

See the bolded. That's why I hate this soulless machine football spawned from the deranged mind of an unfeeling monster. May tiki taka perish!

and what made you think that zizizou and his likes wonโ€™t adapt to todayโ€™s football that is based on high intensity?

Intensity ko!!
Na lie Bro. There was intensity in the days of Zidane. He likes to create imaginary criterias and run with it. Go and ask the players who played in Serie A in the 90s. They will tell you that their training regime was so intense that players used to vomit. I've read about it. Allow TheGoodJoe make him Dey talk him gibberish dey go. Intensity ko, immensity ni

You see that Zidane, you see how effortlessly he moves with the ball, he was fast and strong.

Zidane is known for showmanship please.
False. Are Messi, Maradona, Pele known for showmanship? No. These are players whose every touch was purposeful. It's just that in playing purposefully they did so with flair. But the flair did not diminish the purpose but rather enhanced it.

May tiki taka aka machine football perish

I have shown a scientific report that clearly shows the growing intensity of football. Arguing this is like arguing basic logic. With the growth in science, technology and diet, players are now faster, stronger and better than before. Same with the growth in tactical idea.

Search for one article or comment that will agree with your notion. At least I have posted few that agree with mine.

I am waiting.

When you can achieve something with a simple pass and you go for something dazzling, it is showmanship. It is not by saying perish. You can't stop tactical advancement. It is nature.

You argue like a young man who was introduced to soccer during Pep's era.

No reasonable human will rate De Bryne ahead of Zidane. De Bryne will not even make the list of the top 20 footballers of all time! Abeg rest this disrespect!
Na Pep na im be him alpha and omega in football. Before Pep there was no football, after Pep they will be no football.

They are talking about footballers, he's mentioning De Bruyne. Chai, football has fallen off its high perch

You just did not get the point. Muller in what was quoted above said Magic and aesthetics (eye appealing) Zidane rules them. I agree 100%. When it comes to goal contributions, De Bruyne and Muller rules. How can you tag this disrespect?

As Thiago Alcantara said, in the game today, there is little space to even turn with the ball. That is why we see less magic and more contributions.

No one is disrespecting Zidane but give KDB his respect. He is now among the greats.
Marjoribanks was generous when he said that the list of 20 greatest footballers will not see De Bruyne.

Me I say even 100, he will not feature. No disrespect. He's a fine player. Great player? Naaa

I just checked FourFour Two football magazine list of 100 greatest players. I saw George Weah at 97, Roberto Carlos at 89. There was No need to check further for De Bruyne. Him no reach.

Even 300 list of greatest footballers De Bruyne no go feature.

KDB will be counted amongst the all time greats only if he turns Belgium around.
Even if he does, he will not be counted. The roster is stacked full. He's a fine player not a great player. That fibre of greatness is not in him.

And going forward, we will not be having great players. The reason we had great players in the past was because footballers developed their skills in the streets. Today they are mass produced. Greatness does not rest with the mass.

KDB is better than any midfielder. The premier league has ever seen for the past 100 years

His only downfall is big game choke and injury issues

With Belgium or no Belgium heโ€™ll be inducted into fifa hall of fame and epl hall of fame

With Boniface, Onyedika, Onyeka, Gift Orban, Bassey, Nathan Tella, Yusuf, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and the hopeful additions of Ifeanyi Matthew, Ibrahim Olawoyin etc the future of Nigerian football is in safe hands as these guys will be the new generation of super stars for is.

The likes of Iwobi, Osimhen, Ekong and Ndidi are already senior men so they give us the experience and leadership.
Well said ,however without a good coach all these talents become a waste . Until a sound coach is appointed many talented players will not be invited to the super eagles
