Hello house, please what NOC do I qualify under, or which NOC would you recommend given my profile?

Have BS Microbiology and MS Environmental and Public Health Microbiology, also currently completing a PGD in Computer Science.

My concrete job experience has primarily been in procurement (laptops, phones and other IT gadgets)…you can say I'm a businessman, so no salary in the conventional sense, more irregular transfers from the company account to my personal account after periods of sales.

I'm interested in applying for a PR, I'm primary applicant (IELTS L8.5 R8.0 W7.5 S7.5) and our CRS score is 463

Hello everyone.
I have a question please.
I applied for express entry as a Ghanaian but I have a parent who is Nigerian and I’ve lived here all my life.
Do I need a residency permit? I’ve just gotten ITA.

Hello
I hope this message meet you well.
Pls how did you go about your WES evaluation process.
What mode did you take in sending your transcript to WES and how much does it cost you to process your application.

Hello!
So, I followed the normal process of creating an account with WES and then select IRCC as the destination for the evaluation. Then I proceeded to request for my transcript from my school to be sent to WES directly using the reference form given by WES.
For my school (OAU), the transcript cost 45k plus extra 350 for charges.

For the WES fee, it is $CAD260. I had to reach out to someone in Canada to help make the payment on my behalf while I send the naira to them when my GTBank USD debit card was not going through.

Hope this helps

hi guys, good morning

please i want to ask, can i edit my ee profile as much as possible because i realised i made some mistakes in the job history

also, i wan to ask, for the healthcare route, i am aware that it is 6month in the last 3 years job experience you have to prove, but i want to ask, someone who has 2years in 3years experience, and someone that has just 6month in 3years experience, is it same point, or the person that has 2years will have point than the person with just 6months?

Even though 6 months in the past 3 years is what is required to be eligible for CBDs, you still have to meet the minimum entry requirement for EE-FSW/CEC/FST to be able to create an EE profile, which is 1year work experience. So in your example, someone with 3years experience (say 6 months in healthcare + 2years 6months in another eligible NOC) and someone with 3years exp (2years in healthcare + 1year in another eligible NOC) will both be invited through CBDs and will get the same maximum points for 3 years or more work experience in the FSW stream. However, someone with only 6 months of work experience in healthcare won't be eligible to start with, since you have to be eligible for FSW first before the CBDs criteria will be considered.

Go through the extensive information on page one, everything you need is there for your consumption.

To your question; the first step is to determine who will be the principal applicant, followed by estimating the PA's CRS score using the CRS calculator. If the PA's score is high and sufficient for any of the EE programs or your targeted category, the spouse may not need to evaluate WES or write IELTS.

However, every profile is unique and might require a different approach. So try simulating PA's CRS with spouse's ECA/IELTS included and also without the pair. This should provide you with robust idea of what to do next.

Overall, regardless of the PA's tentative CRS score, once they have both language test result and ECA available, they should enter the pool while waiting for the spouse's ECA/English test.

Good luck.

Yes, based on my experience, once the counterfoil is generated and updated on your profile, that means your visa has been stamped. So just relax and wait for VFS to update/deliver to you. cheesy

You can as well register (if you don't already have an account) on the IRCC application tracker to get deep insights on your application. On this tracker, you'd see your visa number, visa expiry date, medical information, and everything in between.

Personally, I feel you should worry less about retrieving your passport due to the hectic journey ahead. Why not focus on your moving preparation and life in Canada, such as; job and house hunting, cargo from Nigeria, and more?

This would sure take off your mind from the passport stress and in no time, DHL would knock on your door for PP delivery. cheesy

Greetings house.
Just wondering, how long after medicals and biometric update, does one get the RFV and PPR response from IRCC. Is there an estimated timeline?
Also, when does the estimated 6months for processing PR application start, is it from the moment one receives AOR?

The first one is VO dependent... There's still background check and eligibility to be performed. I saw someone's without any ADR that got his 4 days after. Another up to 2 months.

Yes it starts from AOR.

Right! thanks for your response. As a matter of fact, I asked because I know a friend that got his couple of days after his medicals was updated.
For background check and eligibility, I thought it'd be quick since I have an existing TRV, on which same background check and eligibility had been carried out about 9months ago.

I have no experience with past applications but it makes sense...
Hope it's quick anyways, the tension from the wait is something.

I know it's highly variable depending on certain factors, but how's the job market where you are? For skilled and unskilled jobs.
