You are just very ignorant and idiotic for making that assumption (things are not what they seem); and you can't mention a single place people could look into after learning the skills? You are a waste of space. One thing i detest so much is motivational quotes. I'm also not taking side in the matter because many will think that its because of the promise he made to me that is making me bias. 1. He posted a motivational quote truely. When you complained he was kind enough to list areas of focus for beginners. He also drop a link and a little advice. What kind of update do you want again? He also said that is not a shortcut route to get rich quickly but one may not regret at the end. What do you want him to say again? 2. His post was a civilized one devoid of hate or name calling. You are the one that brought insults in the discussion Sorry sir if this post did not reach well, i know we are hungry and angry in this country but lets not pour out on innocent individuals on a faceless forum 1 Like |

Pentagon007: Congratulations to me guys. I have just made my first million naira. I made this money through savings from the teaching work that i do. I am excited to have achieved this milestone. By this, I have become a millionaire before 30 Lol. I am 29 currently. I know that to a lot of people here, it is nothing but to me, it is quite a milestone. Especially if i reminisce back to when I finished from university, i was so confused and did not know what direction to go. I was so broke and had no job. I have always wanted to be successful, have a good business and build a comfortable life. So, when i eventually got a job, with the help of my sweetheart and advises from her, I had to sacrifice some things and was very disciplined with my spendings before i could come up with this amount. I intend to save some money, then learn a business and go into it. So what did i do? Whenever i receive my salary, i save first and spend from what remains. So guys, do you think i can realize my plan and how did you feel when you made your first million? Buy for that money if you can Swiss francs or US dollars |

I told myself the truth that the reason why I was being paid peanuts is because I am not that important to the organisation. So I was being giving exactly what they felt that I was due as I could be replaced without fuss.
So I looked for money and attended a training, that offered a better job on completion. After training, like they promised I got a better offer that paid about 8 times better.
As soon as I got that, when I noticed that my chances for growth in that role was limited, I began to plan to migrate.
The journey was tough. I picked and sorted pepper and tomatoes, made bread in bakeries, did road construction labour, worked in a tobacco company as a loader, worked as a an assembler in a home and office furniture selling store, worked in sorting and labelling aeroplane parts, worked in a confectionary company, worked in a printing press.
As I settled down and got in the system, I followed the same principle of working and developing and adding skills and career value to myself such that organisation's are the ones looking for me.
I completed my Masters, got a Post Graduate Certification and working on a PhD in that field. Got proffessional certifications in three different fields such as Software Project Management, Insurance Claims Management and Human Resources Management.
As it is I am learning new skills that can one create an automated cash flow for me and another where I do one or twice a year deals.
My target is that in the next three years, i dont have to do 9-5 office work anymore .So that it will give me plenty of free time to travel anywhere in the world at anytime that I want no matter the cost.
May God continue to guide my steps.
I stumbled upon this thread after the OP quoted one of my posts on another thread. What jumped right at me is that your life path further emphasizes the popular maxim that "there's NO food for the lazy man" and it's our thoughts, feelings, actions, that create our reality or RESULTS in the physical world. I must commend you for sharing your profound experiences over the years with these youngsters and indeed anyone who has an open mind here. Cheers. |

You spoke succinctly here. The boy you quoted here is going to be his own undoing. He lacks emotional intelligence and is highly TOXIC with him giving off negative vibes. As an OG here myself (or a veteran member of NL for 19 years now), I salute your courage for sharing your experience here in the face of insults. That boy you quoted will not go far in life if he continues to display toxicity and LACK of gratitude for what you have shared here so far. You CANNOT be successful or become a multimillionaire or billionaire if you hate rich people and envy others and cannot solve problems by providing solutions. These are universal laws of vibrational energy and NOT some mushy motivational speaking because everything is based on vibrational energy. Like ATTRACTS like in the final analysis. |

Congratulations You have a million but not yet a millionaire A millionaire is someone with assets that can produce millions. Eg you have 4 Keke on the road that produces millions for you yearly or house with tenants. But I understand your feeling. If you are focused and good at investment you can hit 10m in few years time. My definition of a millionaire is someone whose investments or businesses can generate at least 1m monthly whether he works or not, that is 12m per annum minimum. |

I called their bluff and went unemployed for 9 months while trying to improve myself. Today my daycare fees alone monthly is roughly 2 million naira.
Why am I telling you this story. So you know that you have not arrived yet and you have bigger fish to fry.
Use half of that money and learn an international in-demand digital skill that can make you work remotely from nigeria and earn really good money in dollars.
You won't regret it. Stay blessed. Please can you tell me more about these in demand skills? |

If you live like a king in Nigeria, I know the areas that you live and hang around and see people in your social bracket. Try make you visit the non affluent areas in the afternoon or rush hour time and remove your rose tinted glasses and put on glasses made by reality. Even people that were okay some yes back are feeling the beat. Food is expensive, transportation and rent is mad expensive and people are screaming in pain and misery. Yet folks like you that have it good say " no I am good therefore you are good" You will be alright. King. You're not a millionaire yet - if you have the mental capacity to comprehend that part. |
