Popular singer Davido has boastfully stated that his family is responsible for the distribution of electricity to major parts of Nigeria.

According to him, his family owns four power plants, which significantly contribute to Nigeria’s energy needs.

Appearing on an American podcast, ‘Business Untitled,’ Davido spoke on his family business and personal investments.

He said: “I once tried to go into cryptocurrency because Nigeria is big on crypto. Apart from that, me and my family have like four power plants worth a lot of money. We distribute energy to most of Nigeria.

“My wife is into culinary. We are trying to start a restaurant for her. But my main business is what I love; my music.”

Four power plants for charity or for business?

Simply say that your family is among those monopolizing the resources of Nigeria. Otherwise, why should one family have up to 4 power plants for business in one country?

Hypocrites call me a hater because of the above statement. The same hypocrites complain about bank CEOs and CBN governors. The same hypocrites sometimes complains about dominant companies like Dangote. They hate any truth that does not glorify their sentiments.

Now, his father distributes power to most of Nigeria. Why is he so predisposed to clout-chasing and achieving it in the dumbest of ways?
He's becoming so absurd and preposterous that it's hard to take him with any degree of seriousness.
