From my personal experience, i dont seat at the back of the car/bus because fuel makes me want to vomit. i always make sure i have tom tom sweets or kolanut, this has helped me. Hope it helps

Try sitting like near the window where you can have fresh air to make feel normal like you're home, and where you wont perceive petrol. And watch what you eat at such times.
Also it could be an allergy of sort, and may be worth seeing a doc to be sure nothing to worry.

The nausea might be you reacting to something you perceived, maybe fuel.
On the other hand, it could be motion sickness. There're drugs for it. See your Doctor

I also have the same problem. I don't eat when travelling and I make sure I have a packet of tom tom sweet to suppress the nausea. I also run away from fuel.

I used to suffer same many many years ago. What I used to do then was that I do not eat before I embark on a journey. An uncle of mine later asked me to swallow a tea spoon of petrol which I declined absolutely.
One faithful day, I was trying to siphon fuel from my dads car, gues what happen, i did not only swallow the petrol, it went through my nose and even my ears and that was the end of my travel sickness.

Could be:
*bad road...well,that's nigeria. Maybe avoid sitting where the tires are.

*Nauseating odours like one from petrol or a stuffy vehicle...sit close to windows for fresh air.

*Motion sickness...see a doctor. There's a drug for it.

Its most likely motion sickness.

Try sitting close to the windows.

Avoid eating just before embarking on the journey.

There are motion sickness meds eg promethazine (avomine). Its only advisable if its severe like actual vomitting and not just nausea. Take it before you start the journey.

Please go the natural route. Buy fresh ginger and grate in boiling water and drink as tea before you travel . Google it

Ur suffering from motion sickness. Happens 2 me a lot.
1. Try and seat next to the window (avoid saying @ d back as much as possible except d bus is air conditioned). Ventilation is key.
2. Don't read anything during d trip. (Even trying 2 browse with my phone makes me woozy)
3. Make sure u eat ADEQUATElY. Very important not 2 travel on an empty belly, and also not to travel after over eating.
4. Empty ur system well b4 traveling. (Yeah any slight imbalance in ur system wheda shit or piss can trigger other things that J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ make u uncomfortable).
5. Try 2 keep ur eyes straight on the horizon. Dis is what I mean. The tendency to vomit is caused by signals btw the eye, the brain and d rest of ur body. Looking at trees and landscape out your window as they come rushing pass you @ 80km/hr won't help ur cause. Your best bet is to try and sleep, or shut ur eyes and relax. If you can't sleep or close ur eyes, then fix them on something on the horizon in front of the windshield.
6. Try traveling with music and an ear phone. Combing 1-6 should end or reduce ur vomiting problems.

try and buy confo(a green menthol) rub it on your face and drop it in your mouth. it may help. it helps me but different things work for different people
