Kenny Banks, a name from her successful hosting of "African Kitchen" and the "SoulSisters" Tv talk shows as she is fondly called is a beautiful young lady. YINKA OLUKUNGA Delectable actressYinkaOlukunga, also known as Nnenna ,rose to stardom through Wale Adenuga Production. She had featured in the following soaps amongst others: *.Super Story (More than a friend, 2008) *.Super Story (Blast from past, 2007) *.Clinic Matter (2009) "There was a time I stopped doing movies and concentrated on soap operas. That was between 2009 and 2011. And since 2011, I have been doing strictly movies apart from Bella’s Place that is owned by Royal Roots." She told Punch. VINCENT OPURUM Vincent Opurum is a rising actor and model who hails from Imo State, Nigeria. He grew up in Kaduna State before relocating to Lagos to pursue his passion. TINA MBA Tina is a TV soap queen haven featured prominently in several TV soaps and sitcoms. She once spoke to the Sun on why she does more soaps: You feature more in soaps than movies, does this mean you don’t get roles from movie producers? "It is what that comes you will take now. Perhaps, it is because Nollywood considered me unfriendly to them. They think I am unapproachable but that is not true because they do not know me. I take this work seriously. So, if you are not serious, I cannot work with you. In theatre, there is no democracy. When you begin to toy with me in that respect, I don’t take it lightly because I have paid my dues in this work. Beyond that, we all have our areas of specialization which stage is principally my area. I do poetry reading and interpretation. If television series or soaps come, I take it. In Nollywood, I did a job for Mamoud Balogun. It is called Tango With Me. I did another one called Amazing with Jimi Odumosu. I also did some others in the Yoruba industry. It is what I can work with I take." UFUOMA EJENOBOR She started off as a model, participated in a few beauty pageants winning the crown once, but now Ufuoma Ejenoboris one of Nollywood’s star actresses. Ufuoma spoke to Bellanaija sometime ago about her awards from a TV soap, "My Mum and I".:Awards & recognition in 2010, you got a nomination at the Monte Carlo TV Festival Golden Nymph Awards. How did that feel?God bless Royal Roots. When I started filming ‘My Mum & I’, I did not in my wildest dreams think that it was a TV program that was goingto get me to the international world. When I saw other names like Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin nominated, I honestly felt honoured. Walking the red carpet with Roger Moore, Taye Diggs, Ice T, LL Cool J wow, it was awesome! FEEMI BRAINARD Femi Brainard, a regular face on a number of TV series and a cross-over actor. Femi has featured in many TV soaps including "Behind The Smile" a very popular soap on NTA. CAROLINE KING Caroline is the real queen of soap operas, and ranks as one actress with the most credit in soap operas. She is on Edge of Paradise, I Need to Know, Blaze of Glory and Everyday People amongst others. A mother and wife, Caroline King once said why she is more comfortable with soap operas: “There are two major reasons I appear more on soaps, the first being that that is where I am able to express myself as an artiste better. You have to develop the character you are playing and also sustain it for a longer period than if it is just a movie." IRETI DOYLE Ireti, married to actor and television personality, Patrick Doyle is the pretty dark lady that has sizzled in productions like Fuji House of Commotion and Tinsel amongst others. She has also appeared in a lot of home videos and radio productions and still finds time to write for magazines. Once she was an anchor person on the Silverbird Television Breakfast show. For Ireti, entertainment seems an inherent part of her, considering the passion and attention that have followed her career. NOBERT YOUNG Nobert features in most high profile TV soaps aired on NTA and he very professional. He has greatly minimized his appearances in Nollywood films and does more TV soaps. GLORIA YOUNG She hasn't been active in Nollywood lately. What Gloria seems to have lost in the home video industry has turned to her gains in the soap opera business, indeed. OSAS IGHODARO Osas Ighodarois aNigerian American actress, model and presenter. In 2010 she was crowned Miss Black USA.
