Good but it's a pity my airtel line does not qualify for this.

I ported from etisalat 10k for 20GB plus monthly to SMILE 4G broadband for over 12GB for 9k monthly.
with their MIFI.

Calculating what I spend monthly,I decided to buy q10 for glo 1k for 3GB which has been superb!

Kudos to GLO and I think other network providers especially MTN need to copy them.

Airtel should as well stop their IP changing every second stunt as it do disturb people especially webmasters but I have solution to the airtel IP changing every second stunt which is using dedicated VPN IP along with your airtel.

It is easy as all you need to do is to get yourself any bb 10 phone,subscribe to GLO and then share its mobile hotspot.

For those that have android phone,you can use the glo bis on your phone but you need to root your phone and as well do a minor configuration using a file.

I use etisalat. They charge 3k for 1.5 gb. I use wifi at home but still find myself finishing it within 2 weeks. Longest it last is 3 weeks.

Wrong! My Eti baba on an average would download a 700mb movie in 11-12minutes. If the network is blazing more than usual, then you can download same movie within 7-8minutes. I use it all the time to download movies. Besides, I don't do mobile movies since I got Etibaba. I download BRRip 720p at least or 720p Web-DL to say the least. Other times I might just download a movie with its full res (1080p full HD).

So, Airtel is still a baby where Eti baba is. Alright?

most times if u cant control apps from connecting to the internet it drains ur data.
I suggest u get an android firewall to optimize ur data usage Or better still switch off ur mobile data when not in use
Cos I use airtel and a firewall of course, they do not deduct my data unnecessarily.
The only thing I complain of is there inconsistent signal.

If you subscribe to this plan, try this: Check your remaining mb balance, go to playstore, download an app of let's say 20mb. After download, check your balance again. Then come back here and tell me the result.

Note: I'm not labelling Airtel entirely as fraud. But any 1+1 offer attracts 1+1 charging. Nuff said.

Back to the topic. Airtel can burn in flames for all I care.
A network that has reduced itself to petty stealing from its subscribers with weird deductions from airtime to auto callers tunes subscriptions on subscribers lines with airtime deduction. This is a network with little or no history of refunding of stollen airtime. Damn you, airtel? You wanna clean your dirty 3rd world image and get your customers back? Then start with a public apology for all the illegal deductions from customers' airtime then start doing airtime refund when you have a clear case of illegal or fraudulent deductions. Until den, you'll keep struggling.
