we paid £30m for an unknown entity who has done nothing yet in the first 2 months of his career. did baines cost £30m when everton signed him or did wenger buy ashley cole for £30m? what's the comparison?

contreao is super excellent offensively & defensively. he can play in about 3 positions. his crosses are excellent & there's tenacity in his game just like rafael. i would rather have contreao than any english left back - baines is the microcosm of what fabio contreao is.....

If Shaws turns out to be as good as either Baines or Cole then he has justified his transfer and he isn't as far behind as you might think.
I'll wager good money that none of them where this good at this age even if they where times have changed.

That's one thing about football, people ve forgotten so soon that he has been in United for a decade and has forgotten what he has done and achieved at United, quiet alright he isn't at his best presently, things ll still get better for Rooney and United, all we need do is keep up being in the top 4 till the transfer window reopens come January when we ll be able to strengthen the needed areas(more of defence then midfield). E sure me say we go displace either Liverpool or Arsenal for the top four spot this season.

we don't need Schneider for any reason, we have no issues going forward. I can't even see where he'll play. any forward acquisition that is not C. Ronaldo or a youth talent should park well.

Well shaw so far is proving as unreliable at keeping fit and helping us clean sheets. Since pre-season he has narely been fit enough to make the bench. How he will be here for 10 years in your estimation remains to be seen o.
For me we shouldn't have signed that fellow for that amount. Saw a few games of his last season and was not impressed at all. He's just another product of hype.
