The Originals!

Best Vampire series I've seen in a long while albeit it's a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries.

Super super plot that's centered on love, hate, jealousy, greed, friendship, enemity, leadership, pride, relationship and family.

No crazy bloodbath and lewd scenes, every ish is regulated.

I love this series.

Err...that's a series. Series and films/movies are not interchangeable words.

Sci-fi, action. Not a bad film. Some folks and a prisoner crash land on a planet, they try not to get killed by the planet's creatures. Classic last man standing film. This started the whole Riddick franchise.

Now watching Ultraviolet, sci-fi action. Think sci-fi vampires, anti-grav, gun kata, a dystopian Earth and all the other weirdly entertaining stuff from a Kurt Wimmer sci-fi film.

I watched "Sinister" last night and i must say that this is the first horror movie that shook me in a very wrong time. At some point i paused it to contemplate whether to continue watching it or not. Whoever produced it is an expert in producing scary movies.

If you do watch Ultraviolet make sure you get the extended/director's cut (120 mins), the theatrical version (80 something mins) is rather confusing and butchered.
