If you don't bath regularly (at least twice daily) Chances are that you may smell bad.
If Sexual intercourse counts in marriage, then cleanliness counts.
If you bath regularly with out the use of a De-odour-ant, you have a 99% chance of smelling.

If Kissing counts in sex then brushing on such nights counts.

Truth is that at marriage, your body equally belongs to your spouse.
So if you were not cleanliness conscious as a single you should be as a married person.

Some marriage friendships are so stiff, that your spouse can't tell you about your bad odour.

First of all, a perfume and a deodorant are two different things.

Secondly, when you take a shower and don't use a deodorant you will not smell quickly. I know people who refuse to use deodorants for health reasons and to protect the environment (deodorants contain harmful chemicals that can cause cancer and pollute the environment) and don't smell because only old sweat smells. If you take a shower every morning or every evening and don't do hard physical work, you will not smell quickly.

Where did get the 99% statistics from? Why must someone use deodorant? Deodorant shouldn't be encouraged, I hate the smell.

I don't use any... I came with factory fitted nice body odour

Most of the deodorant I smell on people have this pungent smell that makes you want to puke.

Yes, being dirty is a big turn off.

I was wondering too. A light scented dove for ladies or ax deodorant for guys any day.

I live in Nigeria and one of the hottest part of the country

Those extreme parts can be controlled without deodorant if they are daily taken care of. A nice smelling deodorant is good though compared to most used by people.
