The best webmaster is the one who has built the most successful site. By virtue if the question, the best webmaster on nairaland is seun osewa, followed by lindaIkeji (she's on nairaland too)

3 - 4 years ago, dhtml was building a framework at the time I was building mine too. I used to visit in stealth mode just to keep tab.
if you know what it means to build a framework in php, you would duff cap for anything dhtml.
I don't know what had become of the project now, @dhtml pls, tell us.
There is another stock exchange app did too.
After building mine, we built a social network on top of it from ground up, and shii is fast growing amassing thousands of users by the day. www. brain tem.org
we have built a whole lot of apps ontop of the original framework since then.
There are other ace web developers back then, even people wey dey code from France: D. Them go still dey around but prefer not to show off any longer.

The framework was completed and was used to build a lot of sites. Over 20 websites for that matter. I decided to keep it private and not open source. The most recent version has been used to build like 5 websites already - and that is what powers www.Nairaland.com

I tried sharing one of the versions then, but people did not contribute to it leaving me to do all the testings, finding bugs, fixing bugs and all that. Since i ended up doing all the work, suggesting feature upgrades and all that all by myself. Now that the framework / cms is now more powerful than joomla, drupal, wordpress, and even oxwall (from my own point of view because i pirated features from all these sources). My fear is that if i share the code of this source (and i want to), i will find myself being responsible for answering lots of questions, single-handedly working on all the documentations, testings, debugging and all that. . . . .and i am not ready for that right now, that is why i am keeping it private until further notice.

OP can sample links to the works of these webmaster to spice up the thread.

Some of the people on that my list are not active on nairaland anymore. And I find it difficult to post their work on nairaland because some of them were shown to me in confidence. Even me sef most of my recent works are not published on nairaland or even on portfolio sef, it is easier that way atimes.

That is why I am a bit reluctant to start publishing such stuffs.
