In the spirit of December (end of year) and forthcoming Christmas , I have been receiving a lot of messages/pings etc from friends/family.

___ I struck a conversation with a friend, because she asked me if my Christmas clothe is ready. I told her no...I have never been a festive person since childhood. I don't just like the idea of looking flashy on any specific day___ makes me shy. .
So, I threw the question back at her : asked her is she bought hers, she said NOPE! I be "pikin"? .

That brings us to the topic.
__ Are Christmas clothes for kids only?
__Do you still buy Christmas clothes as an adult?

My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?

it is a period of celebration so you should at least gift yourself with new clothes.

I dnt wear new cloth on xmas.
Even if i have new cloth,i wl make sure am nt wearin it for d first time on xmas day.

I think "Christmas cloth" is even a Nigerian thing. It's not compulsory to buy for yourself or even your kids. But it just adds fun to the whole thing.

Inmy family we still go for christmas shopping and buy new clothes but nobody wears them on christmas day.In fact,last year i didn't wear the clothes till new year.
I don't get the fuss though maybe it's cause i don't go out for christmas kiss
