@op I used to have flair for drawing in Primary School days but later living in a place I was not allowed to express myself, the talent died. My mum also gave up asking if I still draw. It hurts me badly as I see your beautiful handwork. Good job bro!
But what do you really mean by ' Charcoal' artwork?

same here bro a lil jealous y coz my talent jux died...if u draw at home u go receive beating all in d name of u bin jobless...if my child has dis talent damm ild use everytin in me 2 encourage him/her(would lyk a female artiste tho)

nice work. but i don't much of a difference from a solid "2B" pencil we used in art class. Maybe just a little in the color density. keep it up.

Killjoy, do you mean charcoal pencils? Can 2B,4B,6B etc., be regarded as charcoal pencils.

Hmmm... Your shades are nice, but you can still improve alot on accuracy of features. I've got to try this charcoal... Em... Wait o, is it charcoal pencil or lumps of real charcoal?

smh... You'd rather praise someone without pointing out where you think he can improve. Anyway you don't need to be better than him to see that his works can get better. Artists need critique more than mere praises.

There's the regular charcoal from burning wood, and there's charcoal pencil which is a compressed form of the regular charcoal. They wouldn't come out exactly the same way on paper. The question (not questions) is to find out which he used.

i started some months ago...got inspired ...dis are nt charcoal .just some grade of pencils...haven't laid my hands on charcoal pencil and charcoal white, kneaded eraser,stick eraser...i will b so glad if d master minders in charcoal pencils can share their thoughts ,so i csn learn

talent never dies my frend... it probably atrophied bt is very much der. d best tym to plant a tree is 20years ago. the second best time is nw. pick up ur pencil and start sth nw... its neva too late
