I had to do a factory reset on my phone, then create a new micrisoft account. all is well

Oh, congrats. But if I were you, I'll not create a new MSFT account but use the previous one. Using a new one means losing access to all your info tied to the previous account including phonebook, applications (especially the paid ones), game info & gameplay level and progress, Nearby Live info, xBox and Bing maps info (although the Nokia HERE maps is okay for me), OneDrive privileges including cloud uploaded media and info (on your OneDrive), communication and integration of the phone with your other windows devices. The list goes on & on.

Lumias 520 & 920 but screenshot is the 920's.

PFD means preview for developers. It's a platform for beta testing of OS updates to the phone before the eventual public rollout. So PFD users were already rocking WP8.1 like 2 months before it was rolled out for other users. It has its downsides though. You risk having your device being used as a lab rat. But so far, I've not encountered any problems using PFD versions mostly because the software updates are near perfect before they are even released to PFDs. So in effect, aside the newly released devices, PFD users will first have access to Lumia Demin and WP10 updates before other devices.

It's free to enroll in the PFD program. Just head over to the store to download the "preview for developers" app. Then you'd register on MSFT website with your windows ID (live, hotmail or outlook) after which you go back to launch the PFD app on your device and click "enable pfd". Then you're good to go. You'll be notified on your device to download and install any new updates for PFD. You can opt out at any tine by disabling pfd from in-app.

How is Android easier to operate than windows phone. I disagree bro. WP is straight to the point.
ceaser:
D'you mean easier to "operate" like below, including the other problems of malwares, hanging problems and buggy use of android OS?
for example, to use an mp3 file on your phone as your ringing tone; you need a PC. To install applications that you didn't download from the store, you need a PC(application side load). You don't know the folder your Bluetooth received go i.e y you can only view a video sent to you through Bluetooth with the video player(and not with a file explorer). Though these issues might be fixed in their updates

Yeah, been using it for about two weeks. Its a great looking phone. The performance and battery life is good. It lasts me almost through the day with 2 Sims, full 3g, intermittent WiFi usage and light gaming.

Go get it.

Your first point is not true!
You can simply download the ringtone app.
You can view the video with a file manager for sure. In fact Microsoft has their own for manager now.
Seems to me you left WP a long time ago.

Does anyone know if I can subscribe Glo bis, then put the SIM in my WP? Do you think it will work? Anyone ever tried it with a WP?

After using a cloned phone or trashy chinko android ( maybe itel and co) you now conclude that an os known to be fluid is full of bugs? Which os on earth is bug free? Go get yourself nexus or xperia, moto and say no to samsung touchwiz that has brought bad reputation to android

I know they do, it's called "files". I am still using my lumia520. But which folder do the Bluetooth received go? Why do you need an app just to set your mp3 file as your ringing tone?

BBM channel is not the main thing, what is still lacking is Voice call via bbm(voip). Even BB 10 BBM can do video call i guess. But the issue is, will Microsoft allow such feature on their OS that will rival skype?

Cortana: Updated in the US; Beta in the UK and China; Alpha in Australia, Canada and India.
Folders on the Start screen.

Apps Corner mode - very similar to Kid's mode - a separate and secure Start screen with customized access.

SMS merge and forwarding.

Consumer VPN.

Faster Internet Explorer.

And improvement in camera speed

The update download size is around 250-300mb. However as recommended by Microsoft, it's best to have a free space of atleast 1GB on your phone memory to install the update.
Downloading didnt take my time but installation did.
