If u look at putin very well u will see that is bald headed? do u know why? it is because size of is skull is not more than average person's skull but the size of the brain capacity is more than average so if he uses the brain above average then the skull will become very hot & the hair will be withering away. He is a quiete killer. Let just keep watching. ha ha ha bald headed man (BHM) 1 Like |

Indeed he is no chess master. He gets too much credit for what he is doing but the recession is a double edge sword. If they can stabilize it before 2016, he will be popular as ever. Now Russians will understand once and for all that they need to stop being Eurocentric 1 Like |

Forget about the information you get from biased media houses. The Russian economy is in tatters right now. This is a firsthand information from a couple of close Russian friends. Even my girlfriend is from there. Right now the Russian Rubble is near worthless. A lot of my friends that comes to China every three months for importation purposes hardly show up for some months now. Inflation is at all time high. Russia is a glorified third world country. No thanks to Putin's oversized ego, Russia is on a downward spiral. Today's world has gone past the era of brute force and bluffing of the Soviet days. That's why you have to respect the Chinese! Even as powerful as they are now, you don't see them confronting the USA directly, because deep down they aren't in the same level in every indices of development or civilization. 5 Likes |

networkgenuis: For someone that claims that media house are biased yet spewing their propaganda. Putin's action has nothing to do with his ego. Any sane Russian leader would do the same to protect Russian interest. |

Rubbles had a slight rebound today. I still believe that if Mother Russia go down many European countries will go with them. Despite the sanction Greece signed a military pack with Russia some 2 days ago. Vlad made it know to Russian during his last broadcast that they will rebound within 2 years. Those guys are turf people and they will come back. Sometimes disappoints are blessing, Russia will have a rethink and diversify their economy this time around. Just today Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann confirmed the fear of many on how the Russian economy will drag many European economy down. I personally feel that USA is trying to keep both Europe and Russia down at the same time. 2 Likes |

oldenglish: Lol. The only sane and knowledge poster on the thread who understands what is going on. The US is trying to kill two birds with one stone - make Russia crumble with Europe - but it is going to be at the receiving end when it is all said and done. Hence Putin still remains the favourite to win on the long run. Deflation has hit the Eurozone and it is only going to get worse. Just be on the look out for Germany. But Russia has China to fall back on to turn the tide - the Chinese offer of trading in Yuan and currency swap is the holy grail. Putin will outsmart them again lol. |

aresa: Please keep quiet. Saying Putin's policies are regards Ukraine was based on his ego is a direct line straight out of the MSM. What do you expect him to do? , roll over and let Ukraine join NATO? kick out his black sea base? or allow Ukraine to sign an economic agreement which would allow the EU to dump their goods in Russia throu Ukraine taking advantage of the duty free agreement of the CIS? He is even a moderate considering the fact that he hasn't overtly occupied Eastern Ukraine already. 1 Like |

SirShymex: Crumbling economy and depending on another country for survival is the new definition for smartness these days... Is a crumbling economy, bailing out banks and depending on another country for survival not failure and obvious doom? Wonders shall never end...? 5 Likes 1 Share |

slydog: The US can't afford to default on its debt - that will automatically send the world into chaos, with massive recession. And it will end the dollar. The US without the dollar would be as inconsequential as any other country, and it won't have the luxury to manipulate things anymore. Especially the excessive printing of the worthless paper the dollar has become. So, a default is out of the equation, unless it wants to self-destruct. |

SirShymex:great master? A great master is known not by his power to give order but by the number of followers who are ready to execute his order. He doesnt even command a good following in his domain let alone around the globe. Hahaha from ussr to just russia. Them dong start again to provoke america abi? Ok . The next thing that will hit them: rusSIA will become SIA. Instead of solidifying the foundations of thier sovereign unity(whatever remnants is left of it) they are busy making AND remaking enemies with the west without watching thier back. nairalife2013: Putin is flexing and doing gra gra all over the place, but the only thing US is doing is dishing out little little sanctions and this alone crippled Russia's economy. Missy89: You are entitled to your views and opinions same just like the poster you tried to denigrate. But saying his opinion was media propaganda was thoughtless and reckless. It's easy to say your rant about Russia's need to invade and terrorise her less powerful neighbors was a necessity based on the reasons you stated was Russian media propaganda. Stick to your opinion and let others stick to theirs.. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Missy89: I based my submission on firsthand information and not on some cheap propaganda concocted and sold by the media. Don't get overly emotional in matters of economics, unlike religion, it should be based on hard and incontrovertible facts. A sizable Russian population now are totally fed up with Putin, the hardship is biting hard and Putin anticipating a possible civil unrest is using the mafia to whip a lot of opposition figures in line. Like I wrote before, this is a firsthand information from Russian business men. |
Re: Obama: Vladimir Putin Is No 'chess Master' by networkgenuis: 5:10am On Dec 23, 2014 |
aresa: Thanks my brother. I was a bit taken by her emotional outbursts. Isn't it better to have a fairly bouyant economy and bid your time until you are strong enough to challenge your enemy when you are reasonably capable? (The Chinese comes to mind). Many of my Russian friends complain about the economy bitterly. For example, I help one of the guys buy electric motorcycles and ship to Russia. He told me nothing moves. Before now, Putin was very popular amongst these guys. He made them have a bit of nostalgic feeling of the glorious Soviet era. Whats the need of bragging about calling the bluff of the USA when the average Russian is struggling? Many people supporting Putin's folly are doing so based on their hatred for the USA which I won't beguil them ( heck, not that I like them). 2 Likes 1 Share |
