Its true shaa, learnt in the past that he's from Igbo land, became a Gabonese during the Nigeria-Biafra civil war in which many Igbo children were flown to Gabon for refuge. But he has been doing well in Gabon, so why the uprising against him now? Na wa o

What will Americans now do having a son of a kenyan rule over them for 2 terms.

Obama is an American citizen by two simple facts...backed up by US law.

1.He was born on American soil....Hawaii (which became the 51'st state of America two years before he was born).

2.His mother is American....which also entitles him to citizenship.

Gabon follows different citizenship laws.

If government invests heavily in education, let's say free world-class education up to university level , we would have millions of intellects working hard to improve their countries and Africa as a whole. However, it is frightening that we have left that phase behind. Youths are more focused on trivial part of life that does not well contribute to human development and reputation improvement. Our future leaders are now narrowly involved in ethnic and race prejudice. That in my view, is pure hypocrisy, selfishness and illiteracy.

He must be from Niger Republic not Nigerian.
Gaius667:
There has been deep rooted speculations over the nationality of the Gabonese president - Ali Bongo, with many claiming that he is of Nigerian descent. Presently there is crisis in the Central African country and part of the grievances is that they cannot have a foreigner (Nigerian) ruling them.

Links to the current crisis can be found below:

..............It is important to include in this report that President Ali Bongo had filed in France a complaint against Pierre Pean author of a book defending the theses that he is of Nigerian heritage.

We Nigerians sabi give advice we could not keep! So since Obama, a Kenyan boy was elected to rule U.S, Nigerians can as well go and bring a Tanzanian to rule them? Ur comparison is absurd!
