Hi guys. There's this really nice app that was suggested in the store for those who want to learn languages, and it's free. Duolingo. Really cool too 1 Like |

kinesis: Rili? That would be so so cool. So I have d option to download wateva I want via mobile subscription? Elxandre: Will uc web allow you to download via your mobile subscription? I also love the lumia 1520. Should be my next fone, bt I'm kinda worried about all these limitations |

kinesis:If you want to pass out a message through the WP user voice, you need to get alot of supporters to vote for the idea, and I don't have enough time to go on Wcentral soliciting for votes. I'm still using a 520 I have been wanting to buy a new phone, but I decided to wait for W10! I want to see what it has to offer. |
Re: Windows Mobile Naija Forum by Elxandre(m): 10:59am On Jan 04, 2015 |
zylkenny:You should be able to download large files with UC browser! You can also download files above the limit from the Windows store by setting UC browser to speed mode, them downloading the file from Windowsphone .com to your memory card. them reboot your phone and select install local apps. |

Re: Windows Mobile Naija Forum by UjSizzle(f): 2:35pm On Jan 05, 2015 |
Feraz:Nope. There's an option to chose another language too. I'm taking two currently. |

Feraz: Which vlc is cool. A player that can't pause a video. I saw on wpcentral that it seems the link of the private got leaked to public because all the complaint from beta testers wasn't addressed. |
Re: Windows Mobile Naija Forum by Feraz(m): 10:33pm On Jan 05, 2015 |
Unseen:Hehe. Guy, you dey vex oh. Anyway, mine just started experiencing problem. I didn't have that issue of pausing. One of the issues I had was that while playing music, the timer was not moving. |

Was at Onitsha Main Market, I checked the price of Microsoft Lumia 535, at one of the dealers and the price is 27k. While Nokia Lumia 630 dual is 28k. Lumia 625, 37k etc. Now, I was wondering how the price of the older Lumia is still higher despite the fact that one can always choose the Lumia 535 over some older Lumia devices. |

UjSizzle:yeah... for example, certain sensors have been removed from most of these new devices. The 530 is a good example. |

Durchmann:Cortana way more interactive than Siri. you just have to check out the Cortana help page to help you understand how to use her better. I use her to keep tabs on my fav team, scoreline, other match updates and my tech news. Also good at reminders, Cortana knows my bro, sis; i set it up. You just have to have a reliable internet connection and the right accent for her to respond correctly. Also Cortana works offline for tasks that don't require it. Siri has its won strength to but in no way is Cortana a slouch 1 Like |

Elxandre:Details for win10 mobile will be out this month and Microsoft has replied to win fans that an update for its apps are in the works. patience, that's it. Microsoft is only being wise cos they know it's and Android got most customers and they will make more from those platforms as well as advertising their products thereby enticing consumers to make the switch. Win10 has to be perfect cos i see it as Microsoft last card to make an impression to IOS and Android faithfuls. I believe Microsoft apps are on par with IOS save for the office app which joe beilfore promised an update. |

Alfred234: Hahaha. You missed it all. Cortana is actually more advanced than siri. In addition to the things you said above, Cortana equally answers your questions, sings if asked to and tells jokes as well. It even quote bible verses and Quran verses. It does lots more.

charlesm91: Actually you can, dial ##3282# to go into the Field Test mode. Once you're in tap the options bar at the lower end of your digitizer i.e. those three dots that appear at the lower end of your screen. Click Settings once the bar comes up and here you can select under Network Type 2G or 3G or 4G or whatever. Make sure you toggle TNS off. Might require a boot though. Do that and you're good to go. |
