VISAFONE NOW SELLS STOLEN ITEMS AT THEIR OFFICES
This is to sensitize my Nairaland peeps and fellow Nigerians that VISAFONE NIGERIA now sells items tagged “STOLEN” in their offices.
MY EXPERIENCE: I bought 2 Huawei EC176 Modems with serial No: A000004F84A25519, A000004F84A25526 at their Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere, Lagos office on 8th of January 2015. Plug the modems to my laptops for activation and subsequently use, only to get a ‘’data locked’’ error message. Got back to their Warri branch office only to be told the modems I bought AT THEIR LAGOS OFFICE with VISAFONE RECEIPT were stolen modems and that I need to return the modem to their Lagos office from WARRI
THE QUESTIONS NOW ARE:
Who stole these “NEW” modems? Me or VISAFONE staffs? Or has VISAFONE started peddling stolen items from some street boys?
Should VISAFONE customers (I and other Nigerians) be the ones that bear the consequences of VISAFONE internal organisational deficiency and corruption (higi haga or imbroglio - In Hon. Patrick Style)?
Will VISAFONE foot the expenses of returning the modems to their Lagos Office from Warri, Delta State?
These are questions that require the attention of VISAFONE Management and the Regulatory Agency.
NIGERIANS SHOULD PLEASE BEWARE AND TAKE NOTE. Next time you are picking up items from any of their offices, PLEASE ASK IF IT IS NOT STOLEN ONES

Below are pix of the receipt of the item i bought from their office
There are audio version of phone conversation to this effect.

If visaphone has an office in Warri, they should sort it out internally saving you the expense and apologising for their errors.
I think you should go back to Warri office, requesting to speak to the Manager or the Managers Boss.

OP, dont be too quick to conclude, why not get to the root of the matter by seeing the branch manager and getting better clearifications, rather than coming to social media and slandering a proudly nigerian brand that puts food on the table of thousands of families.

Please read and understand what he is saying. He went to their office where they suppose to resolve the issue but they refered him to another office.

@ Parrotibaba: What do you expect when the said company does not treat customers' complaints as they ought to. We (Nigerians) still have to fight for our right. Don't you think? I will really love it if you have alternative

d op bought d modems in Lagos(instead of warri) ,so he went to open it n d visa phone guys in warri told him dat d modems r stolen ,hw den do u expect dem to change it for him? I mean for all de care ,d op stole d modems ,so it's either he goes back to Lagos n return d modems or he should forget about it all together
Re: Visafone Now Sells Stolen Items by dgitrader(m): 8:38pm On Jan 29, 2015
while i feel the pain of the OP and dont wish to be in his position ,we all the matter is best resolved at the branch of purchase and its just a simple case of replacement and apologies. No brand like visaphone will stock stolen items, thats the fact of the matter. OP knows this. Anyother speculation or judgement at this point is not balanced or fair to visaphone.

Wow shocked This one is strange o! I have been their customer for a long period and mehn!, I never experienced this. I strongly think you should visit their Warri shop and ask for a senior personnel. You can also call them on 222 I think. I even follow them on twitter @visafone_comm
I really hope this will help a lil.
Best of lucks smiley
