Sunderland isn't playing well at the moment. If this happened in the Ferguson era (losing to swansea), they'd be in for a flogging, a merciless thrashing. The spirit then was high and the mentality was strong.

LvG is using Fellaini to move the ball further up the field. He wants to win evey 2nd ball. Teams are catching the idea as 2 men always contest with him to deny him performing that fundamental task. The players however should always hooof the ball to Fella. Kilode? Others are free sometimes and they still hit it high to afroman. It's monotonic and boring sometimes

McNair played so well the first time he played at RB, linked up with the attack superbly, I'd fancy him taking his chances there.
