When u have so many inmates trying to escape at the same time, how do u shoot them in the legs? If they had escaped u will be the same one criticizing the security. Gosh Nigerians are so hard to please.

In every part of the world , whenever there's a prison break, the guards are authorized to shoot and kill any inmates trying to escape.

Dude, the guards did the right thing. They are authorized to shoot and kill any inmates involved in a prison break. Let's put it this way, if some of them had escaped, then get to a road, hijack a car and kill the driver and other passengers and escaped. What would U say? Won't u blame the guards for letting them escape? There could be murderers, rapists, psychos among them.

Got u, but they need to keep their security very tight, because if it's tight such wouldn't have happened.

It's only in this our black dark nation/Africa that things of this can go for free. Their family if any, shld take this up to Human Rights Watch / UN Human Rights. This bad and uncivilized.

I get u, our prisons are nothing to write home about. We still use brick fences when developed countries use electric wire fences.out technology is behind, but we still have more pressing things to fix in this country before making our prisons look like oyinbo prison. Even in advanced countries with better technologies, prison breaks have been recorded. But in case of prison break, guards are authorized to shoot the biggest part of the body which is definitely not the legs.

*Back to the discussion*... Yes Nigeria prison isn't well caved, they need a very strong concrete in making it, making it strong is the best security.

Because if the fence is very strong that wouldn't have happened, am still wondering what they use is doing such and where they got the instrument for breaking the wall. Isn't that obvious for such to have happened or u didn't get that scenario? Anyway i go have a................

I dont believe this , how could all this young men have all plan to jail bresk snd there was no whisper to the authorities to be alerted . I suspect somebody in company of others simply gather this young men kill them and amongst the killers took thier picture and say they attempt jsil break .
Even as prisoners thier rght to life is guarrantee under the Nigeris law !
One curios aspect in those pictures is that non is wearing prison uniform so they are not convicts so cant be called prisoners , this is pure culphable homicde for which the parents of this yougstars should not let pass without proper adjudication .
