Today is being celebrated the world over as the beginning of Easter. The day when Jesus christ was nailed to the cross, he died and rose up the next day.

The crucifixion of Jesus christ symbolizes his redemption of our sins and this is why Christians celebrate this day all over the world.


In Nigeria, some people avoid eating meat today and this has been the practice since I was young.

What other things do you do to mark this special day?

Good Friday is very significant to us as a believer n follower of Christ, its all about the final crucifixion of JESUS on the cross of Calvary, good Friday signifies the day he died for the sin of the whole world and it's also serves as a platform on which resurrection took place so it's very important. So May our sins be washed n made whole because of the blood of JESUS shed on the cross of Calvary!
And for those who haven't found peace n joy remember JESUS died for you.He is the way the truth n LIFE!!!!
