Wanna share my experience today with my ihot Incase any other person experience same.
So my ihot fell from my hands today n my keys stopped working. I mean both d menu, home n back button. I was torn as i didn't av any money to take it for repair in infinix carl care.
I unscrewed my ihot n found out that my home key n back key were linked to my menu key, without the menu key, the remaining keys wont work.
In summary, i found an alternative. Since my hard keys stopped working, anoda alternative was to use soft keys.
If u find ursef in my situation, just download gravity box, go to navigation n enable the navigation master switch. Do the necessary settings under the navigation switch n viola, problem solved.
Attached is screen shot of the soft keys.

av got my new ihot nd its working perfectly..............but d problem i hav now is that the free 500 etisalat mb that came wit d phone on activation has not started working,I sent the code and it was confirmed. but if i switch on my data I notice that it cuts from the little airtime in the sim.........I'd be grateful if someone can help by telling me wah 2do next

I think Wah cheif is trying to say is that. . . your IMEI must have been used already to claim that 500mb bonus.... the Tweak has been around for some time now, the Smart Ass guys Tweaked their original IMEI by generating it at random online. . . so considering hmthe amount of Nigerians that were into this, there's hardly any infinix hot now, that hasn't got its IMEI taken. . . Even those ones Lying down in Chinedu's Shop in Computer Village. Lools.
My point is, your IMEI has been taken.
