Written lyrics doesn't say much or tell how good a music might sound,but if this same lyrics where given to 2 Face,P-Square,Davido & Wiz Kid to perform in a studio.... I bet 2 Face would make good use of this lyrics more,cos the way he would pronounce,stress & sound with it is different from others. Well, I think the lyrics are okay. But you need to get the composition right. You need a very strong and logical chord progression that carries the emotion of the track. And an arrangement that further augments said emotion. You have a lot of nerve posting the lyrics here. Is it copyrighted? Do-pe! Do-pe!! Do-pe!!! Unfortunately, the only place this can earn respect is ''your archives'' Back then, when I was in school... I had books filled with similar lines. Gave my friends a few to see how far they would fare... But the results were the same... Lines were too Do-pe for the audience to comprehend. And instead of the audience to upgrade their taste. They kept telling me 'this ain't our thing' We keep celebrating mediocrity at the expense of creativity. We keep promoting wack songs with recycled beats instead of Dope beats with lines that could get a kid inspired... And we keep promoting and encouraging 'them super stars' to feed us with rubbish and them producers to produce crap... All in the name of music... Not because they can't work harder to give us the best, but because we take the sh*t they give us and make them feel like that's the best. I listened to **** the other day and threw away all my local collections.. I listened to Asa last night, and I was forced to delete all the crappy party jams playlist i had on all my devices... Ask me why we never feature in the Grammy, why cant our artistes don't go platinum. Why can't they get the attention of the global music industry.... Just as the we have given others our attention. See the comments above and you'll get the answer to why good music can't sell round here.... All they need is the beats to shake their fake ass-es... They don't care about what you say...
