Debroslink:

U talk about Messi and Ronaldo of 7 years, and I'm talking about EPL players in UCL of the past 30 years.

Aside Messi and CR7, we've had
Rivaldo
Ronald Koeman
Raul
Milinko Pantic
Rabah Madjer
Michel

Some of the players listed above NEVER played for Madrid or Barca when they won top scorer award in UCL.

List your own players from EPL that achieved this feat in the last 30 years

Just looked @ d way u are ridiculing Grizman? Athletic Bilbao 1st 11 players' salary is not up to 3 man utd players' salary whitewashed man utd both home and away

Atletico 1st 11 players' salary not up to Hazard's Terry's and Cahill's destroyed Chelsea @ the bridge.

The Levantes Granadas and Celta Vigos will enter top 10 in EPL if they played. If Barca and Madrid play in EPL, it's gonna be a 2-horse league.

Grizmann and Hazard in UCL this season. Who has performed better?
Griezmann has scored and defeated Real Madrid this season. Hazard could not inspire a win over 10-man PSG.
Same reason ronaldo was completely dead against Atletico is d 4-0 annihilation cheesy
Griezman has been playing up front in most of his game this season, u can't compare what he does in his team with wat Hazard does in Chelsea.

Mansour Fellaini's likeness to his brother led one confused hotel doorman to inform the Chelsea boss that United would be without their giant Belgian midfielder

Jose Mourinho's legend is founded on the perception that he is prepared for every conceivable situation, but Marouane Fellaini's brother Mansour put that theory to the test in the hours before Chelsea took on Manchester United.

Fellaini dominated Mourinho's thinking in the build-up to Saturday's Premier League crunch clash, with the Special One opting to deploy Kurt Zouma alongside Nemanja Matic at the base of midfield to nullify the giant Belgian's aerial threat.

But when Chelsea's team hotel received a fuzzy-haired visitor on the morning of the game, Mourinho got some news that threatened to knock him out of his stride: Fellaini wasn't playing.

The Portuguese maestro quickly worked out the true identity of the unexpected guest, however, paving the way for Chelsea to beat United and move three points closer to a first Premier League title since 2010.

We'll let him fill in the gaps...

"I came down in the morning and the doorman said, ‘Fellaini isn’t playing’," Mourinho told reporters.

"The doorman asked him, ‘What do you want here?’ He said, ‘I’m Fellaini and I’ve come to get tickets from my friend Eden Hazard’.

"Didn’t smell well for me. I go to Google on my phone and I put in Fellaini brother. The guy is the same.

"So I go with the pictures to the doorman. I say, ‘This one or this one?’ He looks, ‘This one’.

"F*** off, he’s the brother."

Wetin concern us with stats padded by Paderborn, Eibar, Elche and Cordoba?

Chelsea went away to Schalke and flogged them 5-0 in their home stadium, yet Schalke are 5th on the log. Can Chelsea beat any EPL team in the top-10 by 3 goals even? Even at home, we could not beat any EPL team by more than four goals, talkless of 5-0 away from Home.

Bunch of Scottish leagues.

How come I did not see this earlier? undecided undecided
this guy is a useless idioticc liar! Did Chelsea not win Swansea 0-5 in Swansea's home just this January?
they also scored 6 goals in Everton home!

Did Chelsea not beat arsenal like 6-0 just last year? is Arsenal now a 3rd division club?
Haven't we seen freak results like Man u 8-2 Arsenal, Man U 1-6 Man city!

You know it's funny watching A40 and Raumdeuter try to discredit the EPL just on the grounds that its clubs has been abysmal in Europe and that the league has only been fiercely contested by City, United and Chelsea.

The point they keep missing is that, in the last 10 years, the EPL has proven itself to be a force to reckon with in Europe hence much is being spoken of it.

I've been an avid EPL and Chelsea fan for the past 11 years and I make bold to say that we've been more relevant in Europe than the Bundesliga. The only major European title to have been lifted by a German side in the last 10 years just happens to be the UCL Bayern won in 2013, bar that, they've not done any other thing meaningful.

Now compare that feat with these:

2005-2014

2005 - UCL Winners - Liverpool
2005- Uefa Super Cup - Liverpool
2006 - UCL Runners-up - Arsenal
2006 - Europa League Runners-up - M'boro
2007 - UCL Runners-up - Liverpool
2008 - UCL Winner - Man Utd
2008- UEFA Super Cup runners-up - Man Utd
2009 - UCL Runners-up - Man Utd
2010 - Europa League Runners-up - Fulham
2011 - UCL Runners-up - Man Utd
2012 - UCL Winners - Chelsea
2012 - UEFA Super Cup Runners-up - Chelsea
2013 - Europa League Winner - Chelsea
2013 - UEFA Super Cup Runners-up - Chelsea

The point they keep missing is that we have won the European/UCL 12 times with 5 different teams and has finished as runners-up on 7 occasions, a feat they're dreaming to match.

The point they keep missing is that, in the last 10 years, the three most expensive transfers in the histroy of the game has been EPL exports.

1. Gareth Bale - Spurs to Real Madrid
2. Cristiano Ronaldo - Man Utd to Real Madrid
3. Luis Suarez - Liverpool to Barcelona

Not to mention that the most expensive defender in the history of the game is equally an EPL export.

This clearly indicate how good the league is at producing quality products.

How can the Burnthisleaguedown be better than the EPL when their league fails to attract quality players? In fact, the most expensive player to have been purchased by a German team is freaking Javi Martinez, a dude that hardly holds down a place in his nation's team.

The point they keep missing is that we're enjoying the biggest TV deal that is collectively worth #5.5billion pounds. That even a relegated team like Cardiff had to pocket a staggering #62.1million pounds last season - a sum that is good enough to serve as Wolfsburg's seasonal fund.

So what's there to hype about when it's glaring clear we deserve the accolades we receive?

I dare A40 and Raumdeuter to tell us how the Burnthisleaguedown has fared in Europe in the last decade. I've laid our CV bare, time for you lot to return the gesture.

The battle line have been drawn, this is the week we issue out a rude awakening to you underdogs! angry angry angry

Damnn, he is even among the top contenders for PFA player of the year, something he wouldn't have dreamt of in la liga!

grin you are confessing here you saw 11 but you wrote it as 8 to pull wool over our eyes?
you are a doddering simpleton!

And only a baboon that won't put into consideration that he played for a far better team, where he gets better service than he gets now!...........Actually, I remember him going goalless for about 7 games in that season! !

you are a fraud.
you went to a dodgy site....as if that wasn't bad enough, you deliberately changed the stats from 11 to 8. what kind of human being does that......trying to misinform the public because of your stüpid opinion that la liga is better?

One of the main argument of hazard fanboys for him not scoring many goals is that he plays as an attacking midfielder.....bla bla bla....... he trys to create goals.... bla bla bla...... And Sanchez is also doing the same thing at arsenal! At Barcelona, he had people to do all that for him!

what has this gotta do with the fact that it's been more difficult for sanchez to score in EPL? you should cover your head in shame for trying to distort the facts. if you have any iota of decency left in your diseased body, you should deactivate.

Let me deal with the low hanging fruit first,

I have told you go play somewhere or find your intellectual mates

I choose people I respond to on this thread and sorry you aren't one of them

I kinda discriminate on the basis of intelligence. That was why I chose Ibime because he wont come up with this watery argument

Of the last 5 CL finals, there have been 10 teams(finalists), 4 teams have been from Bundesliga, 3 from Spain, and 2 from EPL. From all indication, EPL is still going to continue in that mode

We are talking about recent football. Claiming relevance based on what happened when Ronaldinho was still best player in the planet.
In the past 10yrs AC Milan has played 2 CL finals, that should be evidence by your logic (or lack of) that they are a better team currently than Real Madrid or Atletico?

If you want to talk about league ranking, Pull out the latest UEFA country ranking that would be in effect from begining of next season and see where the miserable EPL stands

Or Top 5 Balon D or players of the past 5 yrs

Or UEFA team of the season of the past 5 yrs

How can a sane person dispute the relevance of a sample period of 10years but finds it convenient and relevant to request for 'the latest UEFA country ranking that would be in effect from begining of next season to be pulled out'? If you think the events of the past 10 years aren't relevant in this discourse then what makes you think that of 5 years counts?

What criterion are you using to judge which sample period stands?

Don't be a plain daft here, you're dealing with a logic student.

Moreover, what I presented to you was the sequential success achieved within the last decade by EPL sides in Europe. 2005-2014 is the span of time, meaning our good run in Europe only took an abrupt halt last year.

How does finishing as finalists on 4 ocassions with two recognised teams make the Burnthisleaguedown a better league than the EPL?

I asked you a question and I demand a straight answer, what have your league achieved in Europe in the last 10 years?

Why is Javi Martinez of all people your league's record transfer?

Why can't you lot command a healthy TV revenue?

Why can't you lot attract bigger sponsorship deals?

You surely discriminate on the basis of intelligence, you should be making out time with Elampawa.

Nonsense!
