Exactly on tuesday, I was hearing an uneven sound coming from the legs of my car, prior to that, I had ventured where most cars would dare not go on sunday. So I checked the car thoroughly for nails or bolts stocked in tyre, i shook the car from right to left, checked the legs all 4 damage, nothing.

On wednesday, it was the same thing, I was devastated and perplexed. It was sounding like rubber with air escaping inside so I decided maybe the tire had stepped on nail so before I would take it to mechanic (I don't have a stable mecho) I would check the two back tyres first by removing it and feeling for nail.

As I removed the bolt cover on the back side where I hear more of the noise, lo and behold, out of five nuts, 4 had loosen and only one was intact, men, I was just thanking God cause if the last one too had loosen, nah commotutapair be that on speed.

This lesson just showed me the benefit of trouble shooting and determination inorder not to be duped or cause harm to oneself.

Please GURU in the house, I want to determine the state of my shocks and springs, please I upload the pix when the car is at rest, though I didn't feel any rough ride or hear any metal clang and if there is a DIY I can do to know thanks.

Get a stable mechanic. Unless you are the one that did not tighten the nuts on your wheel properly?

I only have issues once in a blue moon reason for not having a stable mechanic. Help me look at the pix and do you know a DIY process to test the spring and shocks.

I had similar experience wat I did was to change d wheel bolts n nuts either or both may ve worn out.

As a precaution one shld tighten his wheel nuts periodically like once a month

do the bounce test: press down sharply at the 4 edges of ur car and let go suddenly {chop amala/fufu wella..n hope u r over 75kg} the car shudnt bounce /recoil more than once....if it does...your shocks are bad

Ok thanks bro, its easy doing this test cause I have rails on the roof, makes it easy to shake the car from side to side. I always do this and no double bounce when I let go.

Not shake side to side but a firm push downward to collapse the shocks.

Find trouble keh, you know me, always here to learn. Will do that when I have strength. Tried it this morning, seems as if gravity was against me, the car goes down a little bit when depressed and stands upright in nano seconds almost knocking me down.
