enginemen aspirant i here say the freshers many die this year and when i pay vist to the letcure hall it get upto 800 sites and uniben dey carry like x2 so maybe rougly 1200 enginmen freshers. So if 6,000 enginmen write exam the and 5000 cross 50 then cut of mark of 60 turn to 2500 then it go turn to who u know casue even if u get 50 and papa na lecture and he press am for u guy u don enter be that. some uses of Ultrasonic sound
1. Destroys bacteria in water
2. Used in cleaning metals
3. Used in drying papers
4. Used in removing smoke from air.

BTW, Ultrasonic sound is the kind of sound we humans can't hear, due to its high frequency. The normal human ear can only respond to frequencies between 20Hz to 16000Hz.

Medwhite's formula for finding the weight of a body outside space is a good one. Its also faster. He gives it as; W1R12 =W2R22

Previously, I'd first find the mass, then find g2 and finally find the weight...too boring! But I still love physics!

big bro...the formula doesn't apply to all questions...it is used when comparing the weight of a body in diff radius on the earth.

Check out this one.
g=go * w^2
where w= Re/Re + h
g=go [(Re)^2/(Re+h)^2]
go =A due to gravity of earth
g=A due to gravity due to increase in height.
Re radius of of earth.
h= altitude or height at which a body is placed.

that formula is used to get the change in A due to gravity due to increase in height....

back to my first sentence,
that formula Wr2=wr2.
can't solve this question...

At what distance from the earth surface would the weight of a body be halved??
