So sorry about the tinnitus, i always keep the volume at room level when using iems and i use emulators both on mobile and system, i can create any environment with my emulators, a good use of surround and reverb takes the music away from ur ears when using iems, i think you play your songs directly straight into ur ear.
Yes i have seen sound engineers use iems for monitoring, i do too, mixes aren't compete if it's not perfect on both my studio monitor and in ear monitor (iem). Once they agree am okay. Good to know u got an Ath, love Sennheiser too, generally German hardwares and daws too.

first time i am hearing about this emulation stuff. well the only immediate wahala i have with m50 is this annonyingly long cable. going to open it up one of these days and convert the headphone to a detachable one just like beats.

What app is that on android? The only good emulator I know is on iOS.
