Somalia, it seems to me was fated to fail.It's always been a failed state.Basically, there are two types of states: failed and failing state.Where does Nigeria fall on the two divides, or near parallels?Because, there's precious little to choose between failing and failed states.I reckon Nigeria is totally neither.Otherwise, if Nigeria fails, God forbid this!!! The whole black race is gone, the African continent would become a banana republic, and a haven for marauding idiots.
All the states mentioned in this post have some things in common.They have weak governments and institutions, and gaping infrastructural deficits.The collective of these lend credence to the tag of failing or failed states.So, in mentioning failed states, they are easy targets for critics.
