if LvG makes the mistake of "fitting" Rooney as a regular with these displays we keep getting from him, I'm sorry he'll not last on the job. if he doesn't get a potent guy upfront so that 'captain shall always play', that's his business but next season he'll know that the fans' demand will outweigh any excuses he must be cooking.

When man city signed silva he was a promising lad at Valencia not a world beater. Yaya was average at best at Barca. They were enticed with enormous wages.
