You might as well say we should stop consuming plants and animals in order to prevent their extinction. Heck hunger is no biggie yeh? Let's stop cutting down of trees so that we can shutdown the furniture industry, i mean who needs paper currency, let's go electronic or just return to barter trade, wiping our asses with tissue after taking that dump is now over, water can always do it. Academic instituitions must quit using paper resources, they should go buy Opon Imon from Osun and sync it with power-point presentations to teach our kids from creche up till university level. Sister, a church is not the building but the collection of saints. Once two or three are gathered in His name, He is there. So what you cant use in the Church building shouldn't be used anywhere else. If you really want to go 'traditional' - whatever that means - then the scrolls, or engraved tablets would be more appropriate.

If you are rendering an opinion, you should type as such. However, you typed as one making conclusion. The word of God is the word of God be it in hard copy bible or in smartphone. The smartphone is handy since you do not carry your hardcopy bible around. There are certain situations you will want to read the word of God and you have that of smartphone accessible.
