PLS TAKE TIME OUT TO READ DIS PIECE... She was a boisterous person, really active and jovial.... Against her meager background she sought to rise beyond her limitations... She trained so hard and eventually became a renowned boxer. Unfair as life cld b sumtyms, in the middle of a fight she was most probably sure of winning against d biggest boxer in the game, she got sucker-punched by her villainous opponent after the bell (the ring of the bell signified the end of a round). She fell and unfortunately Broke her neck and had a cervical spinal injury... She became paralyzed on all limbs, unable to move so much as a finger. I must not fail to explicitly mention she lost her ability to breathe on her own. She required a machine to help her do Dat... She eventually asked her coach - turned father figure to help terminate her life (MERCY KILLING OR EUTHANASIA) My question is are dere circumstances where you wld permit mercy killing for ursef or a loved one giving situations of grave irreversible pain or damage?.. |

Yes, living is not just breathing and occupying space. If I cannot have quality life and there is no hope that I will recover then let me go. I will honor that request because a life of pain, and dependence on others for everything is no life at all. I am pro euthanasia. 4 Likes |

@JhyMedex give credits where credit is due, this is the storyline for the movie MILLION DOLLAR BABY with Clint Eastwood as for your question, most people would turn off the machine, while many WOULDNT and instead hang on with the hope that, with time, science/technology will have a cure for his/her illness |
