Hello NL, please I am new to this trend, I have been going through the pages, but maybe I haven't gotten to the right page, and Each time I want to throw my question to the house, the fear of been embarrassed won't let me, but I have summoned all my courage to ask now......
PLEASE I NEED AS MUCH HELP AS I CAN GET FOR GOD SAKE.
I am trusting God to have my baby in America, I am due around end of the year, I don't have a VISA yet, and I haven't apply yet for some reasons
1) I applied with my family for a course in February, and we were denied VISA, so I was advised to wait till 6 months (which will be in August) before I can reapply
2) I really don't have a place to stay, even though am hoping I could rent a small apartment
3) I would love to travel with my 1 year old son.

I know it might seem a little too late to be asking this questions now, but like I said earlier, am trusting on God's grace.

PLEASE I NEED ALL THE HELP AND INFORMATION I CAN GET BEFORE I APPLY.
Thanks

Not planning to embarrass you but I sincerely doubt you combed thru these pages. The answers to your questions have been dealt with by people's experiences over and over. I'll give u a brief answer but to maximize ur chances, u really should/must read the pages. E fit take u 3 weeks but its worth it. Make it your bedtime and free time journal
1. You are asked to reapply when your circumstance has changed. First time you applied was for a course. Now you are applying for birthing. Thou your home circumstances remain the same, they could consider the purpose and be nice. So u can try reapplying. You said your edd is 'around the end of the year' . I don't have your transcript and don't know if the issue of belle came up or you were pregnant then ...if it did then yu should be prepared for questions. You also need to really canvass this thread to 'package' yourself and your documents for the interview.
2. Majority of the folks here had nowhere or family. Most rented apartments so u need to read through for the options.
3. Most people also travelled with their LOs. Just 2 pages before a bellefull moomy was asking for solution for her sick son.

Note: nobody wants to embarass anyone intentionally but most questions require the responder to skip back and get the info. Which is something the asker can do by him/herself
Cheers and God's grace

everybody seem to have read through all d pages and yet ask questions that was answered in a zillion different ways... Aside the fact that answering an overflogged question is tiring... Reading the thread has more benefits than u can imagine

The thing is going through the thread

will enlighten u a lot about this whole journey...
Boost ur moral
Prepare ur mind
Prepare ur documents ( budget sheet, burden of proof et al)
Guide u about the monetary ish
Increase ur chances at visa ( erase all the unnecessary visa fears)
Even when rejected u automatically know why..
Open ur eyes to Poe issues and how to b ready

At the end u feel more than prepared even if u have to travel alone with another child

ABEG IF YOU HAVE READ THE THREAD .... Your jotter sef go tell u... Even ur partner ( that's if he or she isn't reading)

Thanks for the reply, I was hoping to stay in Boston with a family friend initially, but I guess they will be out of town about the time I will be having my baby, so I am looking for an area I can get an apartment, and won't have to spend a lot .
Thanks again

I guess we all need to be a bit nicer to people. We all need help at every point in time in our lives, I needed 1 that was why I came here in the first place, maybe your reply would be more effective if you make reference to pages that can help with my questions.
So many people read through these pages everyday with questions on their minds, but they can't ask because of replies like yours.
Thanks for asking me to read through over 600 pages here all over again.

Maryland is a bit expensive when it comes to giving birth. I used Howard County hospital and the bills is as follows;
Hospital bill $5413
Baby $880
Ped $290 and $70 for each visit
OB doc $ 3300

Depending on where you are staying in Maryland, you can check out Shady Groove hospital. It think it's cheaper.

1) Thanks for the information. I am actually just applying for visa, and I will be staying in Maryland or Boston. How do I go about getting the bill and letter from the hospital/doctor.
2) and any other information I will be needing

Thanks

Wow. .. LME, day one intro n you already tagged an umpire in the boxing ring. ...no oooh. ....tk it easy.

Try n understand guinivere's point of view. ...she's rather she teach you how to screen the waters n catch the best fishes of your choice than feed a fish crumbs that feel of the table. ...

It's tough n cumbersome buh I'd advice n reiterate he recommendation for you to go back n read the pages. ..if you are a lazy reader like I am, then just start from page one of part 2 of this thread. I believe by the time you run it up to page 197, you will of your own volition go and visit part 1 of it cos then you'd grasp the wealth of information you are missing out on.

Good luck with reading. ..and feel free to check up on us anytime cos by then you would ve jumpedthe band wagon of folks looking for who to bring em remote from sitting room..lol (I just gotta say that. .haven't read any funny stunts today n I'm missing unwind time)....

I'll be looking out for ya. .I know by the end of Sept you wudda joined d NL vets club. ..goodspeed best n seamless carrying of your lil one in gud faith whilst his/her blue pali is cooking well. ..
