Thank you vantage7! I was begining to wonder when we'd be done with page 154!

On another note, is it confirmed that everyone is through with AC?

This 120 figure that you guys are throwing around with reckless abandon...

120 is a huge figure. It should be between 80 and 100 (which is also huge but more realistic), numbers 81-100 being the 'extras'.

Leave the figures alone. If you did well just relax and expect a favorable feedback...and pray.

The high level of secrecy in this NLNG recruitment is unbelievable. Initially when the AC started and there was no hint released on nairaland , I said to myself this was initial gara gara (IGG). UNBELIEVABLE no hint released to the end of AC. Even after the end of AC , no one wants to talk about how his or her AC went. Na Wah for you guys, even those that ended the process went there without any hint after 2 months from this supposed beloved thread. Ok, keep it up guys.

***Pls has anyone who did his/her AC in PH gotten an alert on transportation fare?

Let's start with you. Tell us how your AC went and give us 'hint(s)'. Maybe when I read yours I'll know the exact things to say. I'm open for discussion.

I got a Trf of N4000 but the narration was not complete. It's probably my transport fare. I didn't travel to the venue though

AC went well.

Group stage was first for me and I loved my group members. I believe we did well. Playing back the conversations in my head, I'm impressed with the memebers of the group. I was the group leader. The mock group session I did at Jarus Hub was useful for this.

My best was the Fact - finding , my facilitators were so nice and it was a very interesting exercise. I liked the fact that there is no right answer, whatever you choose as a recommendation, they have challenges to throw at you. Very engaging.

The presentation was good. Long read. I was able to bring out all my points in due time. I was quite nervous at this point though cus it was my last exercise .

The interview....... Hmmmm. What I didn't like? I wished they weren't all anonymous because questions about their experience working at NLNG wasn't allowed. I found other questions to ask though and learnt a thing or two.

As long as you were able to enjoy yourself I believe the feedback will be favorable.

I enjoyed myself at the AC. I really did. Someone else in my group started out as the group leader but I think the guy started dulling my steez and before I knew what was happening I was the group leader grin grin grin . It wasn't intentional but someone just had to ginger the thing na. I believe we did very well also.

Presentation was smooth.

Interview was just a gisting session (only God knows what those assessors kept writing down - they didn't even look up much, just writing and writing)

Fact-finding *sigh* The dictator guy was just mean. Habaa ! But I was able to pick a choice and defend it..which was actually what they needed, your rationale for that choice you picked.

According to information that I think I can rely on (My Sauce), results were compiled and sent to HQ the next day (I had my AC on a Tuesday) which I think is to prevent 'illegal alterations' and bias as much as possible...NEXT !!!

I chose the answer that was the best fit for the requirement right? The questions then revealed details that were not given earlier on. So you then have to defend your choice. I don't think everybody chose the same thing.

Makes sense. I inferred this without a sauce. I also infer the congratulatory mails will be this month. The processing time after the first test was 2 months, and that for the second test was a month. smiley grin

This is interesting, will you stick to a choice because you've made it or change your mind when you get more relevant information?

As for me (and I think we all had the same case study - I'm not certain tho), one answer was very wrong cos the cost of acquiring the site surpassed available budget (except there was untold information that there was extra cash somewhere to spend).

IMO there was at least one wrong answer in the exercise.
Re: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by dway4ward: 4:33pm On Aug 13, 2015
Truth is the key is in the attitude displayed. Will your reasoning for standing firm be backed by ensuring no budget overshoot or just the appearance of not being a flip flopper; or will your reason for changing recommendation be because you believe location will be more important than budget in the long run or just flowing with the tide. These show different attitudes and its now to compare the attitudes with the 4 NLNG core values and 10 behaviors.
So technically there are no wrong answers but wrong attitudes to be displayed. Again, all inferred.

Good to hear that our mock assessment center was helpful to you.

Don't forget to pay tithe to JarusHub ministry when NLNG begins to spoil you with gas money grin

I think that fact- finding is not about defending your choice but asking the right questions that will lead you to the right choice. There is only one right answer and three pertinent questions that you need to ask to make that right choice.

Think about it: the exercise is called fact- finding and you have resource persons to ask questions that will lead you to making the wise choice.

Please how did you arrive at the bolded?

I believe there's no 'right/wrong' answer, but success lies in the candidate's ability to justify his/her choice based on pertinent facts.

Remember, after making your choice the resource persons will always ask if you will like to change your choice based on extra information that you did not ask for.

you have to ask those questions and then the answer will become clear to you.

I may not be able to throw more light on this but in conclusion, you don't defend your choice, you are to ask the right questions to be able to get more facts to make an informed decision.
