Mehn, the last poop I poop was so hard and sacred,I 'd like to call it HOLY SH11T.

As atheist, the aforementioned is what being sacred means to me.

You see this is so because you failed to define exactly what you mean by "LIFE" in order to create a premise from whence conclusions can be derived.

Because obviously looking at the three examples above, each entity or idea above operates in a different regard from the other two and so cannot be said to be within the confine of one definition..… Because by employing symbolism in order to term an idea alive, you have blatantly distinguished it from that of a biological entity..

So I repeat again..

what is the state of being alive?
Lololol. We will moving in circles now except you show your way, the way. The state of being alive is simply to exist. That is being a being.

If you disagree then tell me what it really means.

What is consciousness?
and is the brain the only neural receptor there is?
Simple awareness. I hope you wouldn't ask what is awareness? Of course you will but still have my question in mind. You are to lead me to the answers.

No it is not. I'm just asking plaetton. I have my reasons.

Plaetton again! Consciousness derived from neural interactions? In essence, their will be no consciousness where there is no brain?

Lets not limit it to the brain.
"Neural" in this sense means Nodes of interactive information exchange, whether in the brain cells, the subatomic level or at the Cosmic / celestial level.
For example, when primordial RNA began the processes of replicating, storing and retrieving its replicatory information, we can say that that is when the most rudimentary form of consciousness emerged on Earth billions of years.
It is this rudimentary form of consciouness that evolved and guided the biological evolution of life.

Good. Now my main problem. How is consciousness derived from the activities of life and then controls life? What does this mean?

We have dealt with the issue of consciouness exhaustively on this forum.

My definition is that consciouness is the aglomeration of interactive information. And at its most basic unit, the quanta, it has mathematical corrolaries.
In other words, it just might be another State of matter.

We will surely arrive to a conclusion.. smiley

So a human when dead is just a corpse and a corpse is in existent because it is, and going by your analogy "LIFE simply means to exist... . So is a corpse alive?

Look at Politics as an analogy.

It is a product of human interactions, but then, it controls human interactions.
Not so.

Exactly, now since consciousness is simple a state of "Awareness"

We all know that awareness stems from perception and perception is a product of neuroreceptive activities going on in a biological entity.

Euglenas have photoreceptors that makes them aware of their environment... since awareness is as a result of the neuroreceptive activities going on in an entity, doesn't it in order words show that, that is consciousness..

Exactly the point :

There can be life without politics, but they can never be politics without life ...

there can be life without consciousness (one can loose consciousness and still be alive) But there can never be consciousness without life.

Loosing consciousness simply is a temporal or permanent seizure of neuroreceptive activities in a biological entity

I don't understand you now. Should we be talking about 'it might' in the logical sense?

That means that it is my personal opinion, rather than a scientific fact or theory.

Since consciouness is very complex, we all have some latitude to add a little speculation,.. Common sense speculation.

In a tight corner! I will advise you pay more attention.

Let me help you here. A dead human body exist. So a corpse exists.

Now answer me, is a corpse, that is, a dead human body, alive in the same way as a living human body?

You may skip this one. But then what do you consider, in this argument, to be alive?

This your personal opinion, does it correlate with any scientific document on the matter, as 'you' would love to ask, or any any related experience or experiment?

Now you have arrived . . this is what i have been telling you but you kept wriggling in uncalled semantics. .i have never said a dead body is alive, i used your naive analogy of existence being synonymous to being alive against you. . Hope you have now seen the flaw in that.

I asked you out of three things i listed out which one is alive 1)stone 2)euglena 3) politics . . .instead of simply pointing out that which is alive in the biological sense you employed semantics and dubbed them all alive..

You are the one who asserted that being alive means to exist... and i have shown you using the corpse analogy that existing is not same thing as being alive...

Now that i have used the Dead man analogy to show you what i mean by being alive. . Alive i mean is to exhibit biological metabolisms. .

I repeat my question again..

1)A stone
2)euglena viridis
3)politics . .
which of these is alive just like a human (so you won't get confused again)

What do you mean by 'just like a human'?. One can say they all are energy and thus like humans. So tell me what you mean by that line?

More unnecessary semantics, i actually use "Just like human" so as not to confuse you again... So politics is energy too!! cheesy another one!

Ok let me rephrase it "In the biological sense" presence of biological metabolisms .

I think you seem not to understand the implications of any word or group of words in an argument. Every word must be properly defined to avoid any escuse of ambiguity.

In that sense only Euglena is and don't get too excited. I hope you will be ready to answer my question when the time comes.
